Xero is so intuitive and not only is great for accounting buinesses, but also easy to use by anybody running a business. The app market place has a huge variety of apps depending on what you need for your industry and they are easy to integrate with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing off the top of my head springs to ming Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloud based, no software installation for computers or servers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user permissions are all or nothing, could do with modular permissions for users.
I.e would be nice to see the product cost but not necessarily the payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That all the accounting info is in the one place. I also appreicate how easy Xero has made balancing the bank accounts (especially compared to systems like MYOB) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Aesthetic changes that make my job harder. For example, the new layouts of the GST returns, are really hard to read. They are too big, there is not enough contrast and they are way too busy. There are some good new aspects to the reports, but why did you have to overhaul the way we read them? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Flexible for reporting and easy to use for the team and our clients.
We have implemented for many clients now and are comfortable to do this.
Custopmer support is online but responsive tomost enquiries.
We use the software daily and happy to recommend to other users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Somtimes difficult to keep up to date with new features - but great that it is regularly updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's fairly well designed and easy-to-use software but it's not worth the very high price anymore Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Last few years there have been price rises every year, at least 5-10%. Some years there have been two! Meanwhile, very little actual product improvement happens. The user interface gets little refreshes but long-standing bugs are not fixed and long-standing feature requests are not implemented.
Now (from 1st July 2024), they have removed payroll completly from the starter plan, so you have to go on to a plan that costs (quite literally) more than double to retian it. Same story for the higher plans, the number of payroll users has halved so you have to go on to a much more expensive plan to get what you have before. They claim "most features get more for what they pay" but seems to me every teir has only had features removed, as well as a 10% increase, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are lots of things I like but best part is it's user friendly interface and to do bulk of work in minutes via rule making process and that Blue and white interface combo is icing on the cake. It generates various financial report like AP, AR and for 1099 Forms special features which is useful to analyse the things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As analysist or Supervisor purpose if we reclassify entries idone via bank statement features at a bulk than then there are no tracking back for the changes if we have data in thousand. Other wise it is good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Xero doesn't restrict you like QBO with users, gl limits, chart of accounts limits, etc. They even throw in Hubddocs for free. Their find and recode tool is great and much easier to use than QBO's reclassify's txns. The implementation is also great and you can always go back and change the opening trial balances. Usability on mobile app feature. Also would be nice to have late fee and interest calculations on overdue invoices. Customer support is still lacking without any real ability to call them by phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
