The affordability compared to other Accounting Platforms. Pretty easy to use and implementing the existing data was pretty straight forward. I use it every day for my own business while also using it for my other clients. There are many features that are very similar to Quickbooks Online Plus. the biggest dislike is the bank feeds. It doesn't take all bank types unlike Quickbooks. It is sometime very hard to get clients to switch over because of this. One of my clients who I got onboard to use Xero. I have to constantly manually enter or import bank transactions which is very very time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to like using Xero about 2 years ago and then you started changing things, e.g. quotes and contact details without any warning and they are now more cumbersome to use and take much much longer - more key strokes, it was better the way it was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lack of interest in engaging and actually listening to your customers. These current changes you are promoting don't have the basic functionality of the current version. e.g. tracked inventory needs to show the actual available inventory in both quotes and invoicing.
Please stop making changes that are unneccesary. If it aint broke don't fix it! All you are doinng is annoying your users and giving us reason to start taking a look around for alternative soft ware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I really like about Xero is its user-friendly interface making it easy to navigate and use the platform effectively — never had a hard time since my first day of using it. I also like its cloud-based accessibility with its two-factor authentication feature. Definitely love how it can easily generate detailed reports and customize them as needed using the filters — provides us insights that are relevant in making business decisions. I am starting to feel frustrated with the large price increases - it is becoming more difficult to 'sell' xero now as it is starting to become unaffordable for small business and not for profits. I would certainly appreciate a greater discount for registered charities - a number of payroll software providers offer their software for free but even if xero could offer 50% to charities that would be amazing.
Another thing that I would like to see changed is the charities reporting templates in the advisor section be available to all advisor users not just staff. Many tier 3&4 charities do their own reporting now but they cannot access the xero templates unless they are a staff member of a xero partner practice. Xero is a really easy to use product and does not requires one to be a financial expertise to be able to use it. The interface is clean and friendly therefore surfing through it is always easy and effortless. Xero is also very reach in accounting features which simplify our work since we get everything we require to manage our finances from it without having to use any other products. The most incredible feature has been the financial reporting which helps us get insightful and detailed reports about our financial activities. The automations available make our work easier for example when entering data for invoicing. It is so easy to access Xero and it has very powerful security features which gives our financial data top security. Xero supports third party integrations and we were able to seamlessly integrate it with our project management products for budgeting and controlling project expenses.
