"You won't realise how powerful a tool it is"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay is one of, if not the best tool out there for:

reducing tech stack expenses

consolidating tech stack expenses and functionality

enabling "non-technical" team members to create bespoke dataset s.

Clay is easy to get up and running, offers heaps of videos and support via Slack, I use it at least weekly.

It's crazy how much it integrates with. The team are constantly evolving, iterating and expanding their offering. <3 them! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Back when I first tried Clay, I went in blind and wasted some credits by doing things inefficently. That's not a negative for the Clay team at all and the positive I can think of is that there are now many more recipes that help new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clay.com: The Sales Swiss Army Knife That Isn't for the Faint of Heart"
What do you like best about Clay?

The Upsides: This Ain't Your Grandma's Sales Tool

LinkedIn Enrichment: Think of Clay.com as LinkedIn's much cooler, smarter cousin. It can turn an ordinary LinkedIn profile into a mosaic of sales intelligence, using up to 80 different sources. It's like LinkedIn on intellectual steroids.

AI Understanding: This tool does not just scratch the surface; it performs deep dives into your target market. Using AI, Clay.com can tell you exactly who to sell to, and precisely where they hang out. It's Sherlock Holmes with a revenue quota.

Technographics via Blueprint (coming soon): This feature pulls intricate technographics—no more blind pitches. It's like having a magnifying glass that shows you exactly what technologies your targets are using.

Claygent: The autonomous research genie. It can perform complex, multi-step researching tasks in a jiffy. Imagine if James Bond and a librarian had a love child; that's Claygent for you.

For the seasoned sales technicians out there, Clay.com is not just another tool; it's your right arm. It may intimidate the newcomers, but if you're serious about dialing up your sales game, the depths of Clay.com's capabilities are worth every second of your time. I’ve personally sent millions of emails and driven millions in revenue using this beast of a tool. Dive in, the water's fine—if you can swim. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

The Learning Curve: This tool has the complexity of a Swiss watch. Yes, it's intricate and beautiful, but not everyone can be a watchmaker. You need to invest time to discover its true capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outstanding innovation in the data management space"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay provides a very unique approach to data management and research by connecting to a range of 3rd party providers, which makes the platform hugely versatile. Your account is already pre-configured to have access to 50+ data providers with APIs that are pre-built. There is a cool template library to help you get a lot of work done at a fraction of the time of what it would normally take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

There's understandably a steep learning curve - but the Clay team provide amazing support and there is a real community vibe in the dedicated Clay Slack Channel which you can join. Ask a question there and you'll be sure to have someone respond quickly with a solution or recommendation. Pricing is based on credits which can ramp up very carefully depending on how you structure your tables and on what you want to achieve. Care needs to be taken to ensure costs don't spiral. "The most flexible prospecting platform on the market"
What do you like best about Clay?

Using Clay you can go from barely having any info about your prospects to having all the contact info you'd ever need including email address, phone number, linkedin profiles, and so much more. Then on top of that you can use their ChatGPT integration to create some highly-targeted snippets that can go into a merge field for an email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

If I had to give any negative it'd be how quickly you can chew through credits, especially if you don't have your own OpenAI API. They price AI enrichments at 1 credit per cell, which is on par with all the other enrichments but when you want to have 3-4 AI enrichments on a single contact, the credit costs can add up very quickly. This is easily solved by using your own OpenAI key so that you just pay for API usage through OpenAI and don't spend credits but it would be nice if it didn't cost so many credits if your company doesn't provide an API key. "Clay solves so many problems at once. It's incredible!"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay gets rid of one very annoying problem: Having to sign contracts with data providers to get access to their data. With Clay it's just super easy to connect different data sources and sequence them just the way you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

In the long-run, the UI could be simplified a bit to make it easiert to work with a lot of columns and rows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The tool I have always dreamed of"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay radically changed my daily professional life as a growth marketing manager. I'm now able to enrich and implement our CRM much faster. I can integrate all my tools in one place and automate my research. A task that used to take me a week now only takes a few hours; the ROI is incredible. It is a bit pricey, but if you value your time, it will definitely be worth your money in the long run. Additionally, the customer support is very efficient; it's super easy to chat with the appropriate team member based on the question you have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

- The price

- Can be tricky sometimes for a non technical profile Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Can be a little clunky when building workflows. CRM integration is only available on the highest priced tier Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I've never paid for a product faster in my life"
What do you like best about Clay?

The ability to manipulate data from any source to a new source. The number of integrations are crazy. I used to have to create Python scripts to create all these flows that now take minutes to create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

I'd say the only thing is the credit system + payments. Would be great to be able to buy credits whenever I need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
