"Clay has automated most of our workflow!"
What do you like best about Clay?

There's just so much to like about Clay. Here are the highlights for me:

1. A lot of integrations that automate our entire workflow

2. A lot of in-built features and tools for free such as Clay Company Search and People Search, Company URL verification etc.

3. Paid tools like Claygent Neon and Clay enrichment are great too

4. Allows you to create a custom waterfall for each task making the whole process tailored to your needs.

5. Can be cheaper than alternatives if used correctly for certain things like phone data enrichment using low credit options and APIs.

6. Customer Support is great and friendly.

I have been using it daily and has found it very useful. I can't imagine going back to what life was before Clay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

I don't dislike anything specifically, but few things can be definitely improved:

1. Ease of Use/Learning Curve: It can get very expensive if you don't know how to use it with API's and integrations. Creating the correct waterfall and using the correct API's can make it a game changer for your outbound.

2. Payment Transparency: This is common with most tools that they show pricing in terms of credits which can be straight forward if an action takes one credit but with different credit usage for different actions, I think it would be better to either show the cost of an action in dollars (mobile enrichment using a certain tool costs 2 credits so can be mentioned the ollar equivalent amount, or at least before an action is run, a pop-up showing the total cost in credits would give some idea). P.S. They say you'll get 3000 free credits to play around with Clay if used a referral link, but they don't mention that you'll only get those if you subscribe to a paid plan.

3. UI: The UI can be a bit complex for new users since you buy credits on a workspace level and not on account level. So if you use a referral link, create a workspace and then while subscribing to pro create a different workspace (can happen if you are new) in the same account, you'll not get your referral link credits unless you talk to CS. I prefer account level billing for all Workspaces.

4. Its ease of implementation can be improved as some options are tough to find. I think the earlier UI worked better than the newer one but that's just me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I went from spreedsheet and headaches to generating meetings from a Clay tables."
What do you like best about Clay?

What I like the most about Clay is the community it feels like 24/7 support at all times, don't get me wrong, when support is required I use them but since everyone talks about Clay, what's better to ask than an actual fan and user.

I enjoy the ease of use of this tool, how easy is to navigate and get results within 2-3 weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

At the moment, I don't have something I generally dislike, but will be very honest if something comes up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best low-code automation for slightly technical people"
What do you like best about Clay?

I like the table paradigm of Clay. Competitors that use the flow chart mental model makes it hard to see the results of the automation. With the table view, I can see how the results will be. I also like the gen ai formula maker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

It's really hard to see the "cost" of your automations. Clay makes it really hard to see how much your automations will consume in terms of tokens while you are building it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Clay?

The number of features and possibilities are enormous. It is a huge enrichment for fieldwork in market analysis and business intelligence Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

The ease of use is still a try and error thing that costs valuable credits. You need to have some coding skills and logic which is not that evident for everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clay Transformed Our Agency"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay has democratized programmic, automated lead sourcing, enriching, researching, and outreach. Sales tech development is now way more accessible to non-programmers like me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

There are frequent bugs, updates, and things that are still missing like credit use tracking and bucketing (for multiple projects/clients in one table) but it is still leagues ahead of every other core sales tech platform like Apollo, Hubspot, Outreach, etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how Clay takes the busywork out of my outreach, pulling all the data I need into one place so I can move faster and focus on what actually matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

I honestly can’t think of anything to dislike. At first, it felt a bit intimidating, but once I dove in, it’s like playing a video game at the highest difficulty level and winning - I’m hooked now, and there’s no going back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hands on team & great product"
What do you like best about Clay?

The team at Clay immediately leaned in and ensured we’ve set up the appropriate workflows. We’re leveraging the solution across both inbound automation and outbound account research use cases for our BDR organization, and we plan to expand its use across all GTM initiatives in the future—including product marketing, website personalization, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

The tool does require significant support from your RevOps organization, especially in the beginning. While the team is willing to jump in, schedule a hackathon, and help sort out workflows, the tool still relies on active input from your internal teams. Its effectiveness ultimately depends on how well it's configured by those teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One stop shop solution for all your GTM Needs"
What do you like best about Clay?

So much to do, so much to learn. But the best part is the community around the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Not the easiest interface to use. Limited free functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best way to scale and data enrich your TAM"
What do you like best about Clay?

I actually love how how you can make your imagination run wild with this, from over 100 data providers incl the use of AI, to do 10X from what was possible before Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

CLay is absolutely awesome, however if you do not have API's it can work out rather expensive depending on what you want or need to do Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
