"Speed, data access, and user experience"
What do you like best about Clay?

We've started with Clay to help automate contact gathering and uploading of contacts and other data fields in support of our SDR team. Through Clay we've been able to do this at a speed previously impossible. We have more plans to use this for data cleanliness in more places but as a greenfield play using their data sources to help personalize our segments it's been amazing. As the non-technical business driver for using this solution it's also been exceedingly easy to get started with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Some glitches on steps that need to be frequently refresh or work one day but not the next. The speed gain far outweighs the occasional gap for us though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Hard to imagine a workday without Clay"
What do you like best about Clay?

There's a few things Clay does particularly well:

1. Their customer support. Brilliant way to engage users both as a community and a support hub on Slack. A few hours to respond but it being in a channel vs thrown into the intercom void gives a better experience.

2. The product itself - I've been using it for 10 months now and do not see how this tool can be less than excellent. Its UI is a spreadsheet with some additional perks google sheets doesn't have + of course their integrations. Data enrichment is big in Clay. From Apollo to Openai.

I use the tool daily for RevOps purposes for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

It's not the easiest tools to use, to be fair. Over the months they've evolved but at least in my memory when I started it took me weeks to understand what's what. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great resource for lead enrichment"
What do you like best about Clay?

I love using clay to automate certain lead gen for me. The fact that it combines the function of a spreadsheet with AI enrichment is what I would tell people when recommending. It's super easy to use and I use it pretty much daily. It was easy to integrate with Google Sheets and get everything set up to do what I wanted. I've also asked for help in the community Slack and the team was so quick and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

I wish it had more spreadsheet functionality like formatting and such to be able to use it in place of Google Sheets when I have begun enrichment. I wish it could replace the need for a lead sourcing tool, since I have to have a list ready to begin with before enriching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Lead Source - User Friendly!"
What do you like best about Clay?

Great Functionality - Works Well In The USA and Internationally. Easy to search on a macro or micro level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

As of yet, I have no complaints. The program does not automatically instruct you on the most efficient search (Look for online tips on searching for ways to get the information you need and spend less credits for the search). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All in one Sales & Ops tool?! AI powered Excel Wizardry + LinkedIn Parsing + API requests"
What do you like best about Clay?

Makes it easy to generate complex spreadsheet formulae using AI prompts easily.

The native integrations help enrich leads with LinkedIn profile - not just URL and title but you can parse specific elements like Headline, mentions of certain keywords in Experience, etc. We also use it to validate contact emails to reduce our bounce rates.

Finally, their ability to make HTTP API columns was super helpful to directly make POST requests to send this enriched data back to our Hubspot CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Needs some careful planning to not burn through the pricey credits Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game changer for lean GTM teams"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay allows us to run hyper targeted outbound campaigns efficiently with manageable data cost and minimal overhead.

I love Waterfalls enrichments in particular. We have a slew of bounced emails in our CRM, which uses multiple data providers to find the most accurate data across our entire CRM. I hate being locked into annual contracts with individual providers, I would rather sample different datasets while accomplishing the enrichment task I set out to do.

The community-centric support is also phenomenal, it's so easy to hop on Slack, ask a question, request support, or learn new ways of using the tool. Truly unique compared to other tools I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

There are occasional enrichment errors I get back or a column will be running slowly, nothing to truly dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful tool for any demand gen team with flexible automation options"
What do you like best about Clay?

Every time i turn around, it seems like I'm considering a new use for Clay. From market and persona research to lead list generation to data ehancement to data automation, the uses for this tool seem endless.

For lead generation, the ability to find qualified contacts and search for contact information across *multiple* data sources is powerful. From there, I can add personalization, enrichment, AI steps, or anything else I can dream up. Plus, Clay integrated with my HubSpot instance, so I can even branch what actions I take based on whether data is already in my system.

The team at Clay is constantly improving the tool, listening for feedback, and delivering on making a great product better. If you use clay, be sure to join the Slack support channel. It's worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

There's not much to dislike. As a new tool, there are things I wish I could do that I'm not able to do yet. Operative word: yet. The Clay team has incorporated so much feedback that wishlist items are just a matter of time.

The tool can be complex, but dive in and learn it. It's worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best enrichment + automation tool on the market"
What do you like best about Clay?

You've probably been in this scenario in the B2B space: you have to enrich some records and you start Googling. You come across the big players like ZoomInfo and Apollo, but the per-credit pricing seems steep and you're unsure of the quality of the data. You quickly learn that some data providers have better data than others.

If only there was a way to query 50+ data providers without needing multiple subscriptions ... enter Clay. You can hit up multiple data providers in one shot and set up logic like, "If I can't get that field from data provider A, then go to B and if B doesn't have it, go to C".

And Clay makes everything super simple. If you can use a spreadsheet, you can use Clay. The table-based approach makes it easy to set up workflows and the most common workflows are built into the platform, or you can join their Slack to ask for help on how to set up something super niche.

Whether you're trying to automate scoring prospects, sending cold emails, enriching data for better targeting, Clay is an insanely good value. It's going to be hard for the big players to continue justifying their prices, minimal support and lack of functionality in comparison to Clay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

I had one time where Clay got stuck in a loop where I couldn't login and then when I could, my dashboard was buggy and wouldn't load, but the support team rectified the issue in less than 24 hours. I think any performance issues like that are due to so many people using Clay and will likely continue to be smoothed out as the product scales with more customers over time. "Clay saved my agency"
What do you like best about Clay?

Just how easy it is to use + the value it brings. Effort to value ratio is unmatched by any other tech I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Nothing, it's amazing. Everything from value it brings, to ease of use, to customer service is great. The only thing is that it might be a bit expensive, but it's definitely worth every penny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unreal product, deserves to charge 10x the price"
What do you like best about Clay?

Firstly, I just want to start off by saying Clay has completely transformed my approach to prospecting - and I’ve tripled my pipeline (and revenue) since starting to use it.

Before using Clay, contacting potential leads was unpredictable, laborious, and extremely time-consuming, but now, everything is 100x more efficient and 1000x more targeted. Clay has also become the central SaaS in our tech stack for cold outreach.

Clay isn't just another data tool; it's better than having a team of 10 BDRs and it takes on the hard work for you.

One of the best aspects is Clay's ability to integrate information from a ton of different sources, such as LinkedIn, Google, or almost any website using Clay’s own scraping chrome extension, and many many more.

Clay saves me hundreds of hours that would otherwise be spent researching, prospecting, and personalizing the companies we reach out to.

But Clay offers more than just your average data enrichments; by using the ChatGPT integration it enables me to craft messages that are specifically tailored to my recipients, making my approach feel significantly more personal and well-informed.

The Clay team is also both highly responsive and helpful, consistently improving their product and adding new features.

It's genuinely tough to imagine returning to prospecting the old-fashioned way. Clay is that good.

To anyone looking to exponentially grow their pipeline, Clay is an essential tool which streamlines the process of making that happen and I highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Takes a bit of time for certain enrichments, but besides that, absolutely no downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
