"Best outbound tool ever"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay revolutionizes outbound prospecting by prioritizing quality over quantity, addressing the age-old challenge of balancing list quality with time spent. With Clay, impeccable lists are crafted swiftly, eliminating the pitfalls of stale data and manual labor. Its innovative integration with ChatGPT ensures data relevancy, while its vibrant Slack community showcases unmatched user support. Despite a slight learning curve and a credit-based pricing system that needs vigilance, Clay stands out. It's not just a tool but a game-changer, ensuring both efficiency and effectiveness in outbound strategies. Clay is a must-have for businesses serious about their outbound game. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

The credit-based pricing can be a tad confusing, especially for new users. While the system provides flexibility, it also requires users to be vigilant about their usage to ensure costs don't escalate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Absolute Secret Weapon"
What do you like best about Clay?

I use Clay for everything and it makes people think I'm doing magic. Need to do lead gen by pulling the followers from a Twitter account and enriching those data profiles? Want to use OpenAI to score, categorize or otherwise analyze large volumes of company or people data in minutes that would normally take you days? Maybe you're more tech saavy and want to set up a webhook to feed data into for analysis that runs in the background. Maybe you have an attendee list from a conference and need to find a linkedin profile and contact data for everyone quickly. I could go on and on, but these are just some of the use cases I regularly go to Clay for. When I'm able to turn around data as quickly as Clay allows me to, stakeholders are consistently blown away at not just the speed and volume, but how robust the data is because it's stiched together from various sources thanks to Clay's numerous integrations. If any part of your job involves research, data wrangling, lead gen, or anything that would normally take you a bunch of clicks, copy/pasting, or writing custom scripts, it's a no-brainer to have Clay do all of that stuff for you at scale. What do you dislike about Clay?

Nothing. I'm just excited to see what features they come out with next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"This has changed the game for lead gen"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay is a remarkably novel tool to automate your lead generation and prequalification processes leveraging AI and a suite of integrated databases. There is nothing out there like it. They are on an exciting path.

The Clay customer support on Slack is incredibly responsive and high-quality -- a senior team member will literally respond to you within 10 min to one hour.

They do have native integration with all the major CRM's.

While the workflow and concept is rather novel (enriching data in a no/low code table format), it is very intuitive and easy to learn. Tinkering with the tool for a day or two, you will have a clay table up and running and implemented that will add value to your business.

One of the coolest features is the ability to use AI to write code for you, integrated right into the workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

There are currently no options to deduplicate data, or merge datasets. I believe that this is on their roadmap.

There is no ability to automatically sync data from your LinkedIn or social accounts to the platform (such as your first degree connections and Sales Navigator list data.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the best tools I've used in my career"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay is an incredibly powerful tool that allows me to accomplish so much. From automating outbound workflows, to enriching our CRM (Salesforce), to prospecting new contacts/companies, there are so many ways to get the.

Why use one data enrichment tool when you can use Clay and get so many different data sources that fit the industries you're most interested in. Their Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo, HubSpot, Zapier integrations are just some of MANY integrations/data sources we take advantage of.

Clay is one of the only tools I'm consistently impressed by and excited to use and find how I can push it to its limits (it is pretty limitless).

More recently, the Clay team have been releasing pre-built recipes to make using Clay easier and have introduced new workflows that have made it even more powerful (LinkedIn Sales Navigator searching). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Nothing! If there was something, I'm sure the Clay team has already fixed it. They are very responsive in their Slack community, whether it be asking for best practices or reporting a minor issue/bug. When I first started using it, there was a bit of a learning curve, but now there are tons of pre-built recipes and workflows that definitely help with getting the most out of Clay. "Fastest way to set-up email outreach from list building to sending the emails"
What do you like best about Clay?

I like how you can set everything up in clay from finding prospects and emails, validating emails, creating personalize emails, creating copy and forwarding it to smartleads. Makes the task easier becuase I dont have to jump from 1 app to another. I especially like the water fall style when getting the emails. Customer support is also very helpful and easy to contact, love how they built a community in slack. Also being able to use your own API is great and would save a lot of credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

For now the remaining credits cant be rolled over to the next month. Would love if the add the remaining credits of the previous month to the next one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ill never prospect the same again"
What do you like best about Clay?

The only limit to what I can do with Clay is my creativity. It has completely changed the way I appraoch building prospecting campaigns for the better. I am able to build higher quality lists, automate my prospect research, personalize campaigns and scale all of that with the click of a button across thousands and thousands of contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

The biggest downside to Clay is that sometimes it can be slow and laggy. When I am trying to build campaigns quickly, especially when using AI, the time it takes the platform to load and catch up to what I am doing becomes a bottleneck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game changing sales/growth automation"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay has enabled us to create sales automation flows in 20 minutes, which previously took 2 weeks. We've been using it for just shy of two years as of this writing and have been endlessly impressed by the product, the team, and how the latter synthesizes feedback into the former. I'd write a longer review, but I want to get back into the table I was building. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

It takes a bit of time to understand how to leverage it for you. They've made the basics easy, but once you start understanding the product... the sky's the limit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"You won't realise how powerful a tool it is"
What do you like best about Clay?

Clay is one of, if not the best tool out there for:

reducing tech stack expenses

consolidating tech stack expenses and functionality

enabling "non-technical" team members to create bespoke dataset s.

Clay is easy to get up and running, offers heaps of videos and support via Slack, I use it at least weekly.

It's crazy how much it integrates with. The team are constantly evolving, iterating and expanding their offering. <3 them! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

Back when I first tried Clay, I went in blind and wasted some credits by doing things inefficently. That's not a negative for the Clay team at all and the positive I can think of is that there are now many more recipes that help new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clay.com: The Sales Swiss Army Knife That Isn't for the Faint of Heart"
What do you like best about Clay?

The Upsides: This Ain't Your Grandma's Sales Tool

LinkedIn Enrichment: Think of Clay.com as LinkedIn's much cooler, smarter cousin. It can turn an ordinary LinkedIn profile into a mosaic of sales intelligence, using up to 80 different sources. It's like LinkedIn on intellectual steroids.

AI Understanding: This tool does not just scratch the surface; it performs deep dives into your target market. Using AI, Clay.com can tell you exactly who to sell to, and precisely where they hang out. It's Sherlock Holmes with a revenue quota.

Technographics via Blueprint (coming soon): This feature pulls intricate technographics—no more blind pitches. It's like having a magnifying glass that shows you exactly what technologies your targets are using.

Claygent: The autonomous research genie. It can perform complex, multi-step researching tasks in a jiffy. Imagine if James Bond and a librarian had a love child; that's Claygent for you.

For the seasoned sales technicians out there, Clay.com is not just another tool; it's your right arm. It may intimidate the newcomers, but if you're serious about dialing up your sales game, the depths of Clay.com's capabilities are worth every second of your time. I’ve personally sent millions of emails and driven millions in revenue using this beast of a tool. Dive in, the water's fine—if you can swim. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Clay?

The Learning Curve: This tool has the complexity of a Swiss watch. Yes, it's intricate and beautiful, but not everyone can be a watchmaker. You need to invest time to discover its true capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
