It's very flexible & customisable ensuring, if used correctly - there are no gaps in the creation, editing, approval and so on of any type of content. I'm not sure what we did before it to be honest! Everything is laid out in a logical fashion & users are accountable for their contributions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features need to be more clearly labelled, it's not always intuitive as it should be. The default notifications are a lot and it should be easier to opt out of being a watcher on all tasks & to select a back up person to temporarily take over responsibility for my tasks when I'm away. The work I do entails a variety of steps and Optimizely CMS makes it easy for everyone to stay current on work management steps. I do the writing part and I will write it in a GDOC, then copy and paste and it does a much better job than other systems of maintaining formatting so I don't have to the onerous task of reformatting everything. It's also easy to add photos and comments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is mostly straightforward to use and customizable. You can highly customize using code. As a developer, I use it to create new screen message and page templates that can be edited by others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not like the training material, yawn. The interface seems a bit clunky and outdated. I have not used other CMS solutions so I don't have others to compare to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
