I don't have a lot of time to waste when I need something transcribed, and Rev.com is so easy to use and fast that I never feel I've wasted any time. I can even order new transcripts from old orders, so it takes like 5 clicks total. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes we get really funny errors, This isn't as big of a deal with print transcripts, but when we've ordered burnt in captions, it would be best if those errors were eliminated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the quick turnaround, and when I need something extremely quick, I use the automated solution. It works well, not perfect, but well enough. The cost is a bit above some others, but so is the quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that you can name the speaker throughout. It works well. But if you use the online editing system and delete or combine paragraphs, the speaker name can be incorrect. I work around it, but I wish I could change a speaker name for a paragraph without changing all speaker attributions throughout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using REV for over 4 years, I believe, and from Day #1 it is the easiest user interface out there. Easy drag and drop upload, fast upload and fantastic email support for every order! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hmmm, not much at all. But if I had to say one thing, sometimes to get to my captions, I prefer viewing them under the 'My Orders' option than the default option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rev saved me an incredible amount of time when transcribing interviews for my doctoral study. Not only did Rev save me hours of typing, I also had the transcripts back the same day I submitted them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly Rev was easy to use, and all of the features were great. If there is anything I dislike about Rev, it would have to be the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I got eight or nine interviews transcribed using the ML option and had them back within a couple of hours (at the most). The quality and accuracy of the transcripts made validation much faster, and I could transfer the output into text analysis fairly instantly. Considering the deadline I was facing, I got more than I expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost will always be an issue, but you get what you pay for, and I consider the results well worth the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rev was able to get my transcripts completed within a couple of hours. I was under a very strict timeline and it was very helpful to have that type of efficiency backing me up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike about rev! I was transcribing interviews with multiple students and adults in more than one language. They were spot on! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really appreciate the YouTube integration, which streamlines my most common workflow. I love that there's a customizable glossary. I haven't used other automated services, but working with Rev is a thousand times easier than contracting a bunch of individuals to create subtitles in many languages for my videos. I don't like when certain languages take several days to get picked up and subtitles made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rev saves me so much time and energy as someone who conducts several interviews each week — many of which last upwards of 30 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issues I face with Rev come when the audio quality of my recording is unclear (not Rev's fault). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is straightforward to upload and download files to Rev. Online editing is easy to use. Customer support is responsive and helpful. By rating the finished files, Rev seems to learn and get better with each transcription and caption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really is not much to complain about. If I had to choose one thing, I would say that the rating of the transcriptions and captions is not intuitively located. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That it's quick
That it allows me to find and search
It copies and pastes timecode and link into other word documents
That you can change all speakers
It's good at picking up even mumbling Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can click to another part of the interview transcription while it's playing. You have to go and pause it to play another part of the transcript. Would be great if that was fixed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
