What do you like best about Optimizely Content Management System?

The only real feature I enjoy on Episerver is the ability to schedule elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Optimizely Content Management System?

Everything else about Episerver. Features are created to make things easier for users, but it seems as if they've been created in a rush. It's mobile responsive site is by no means a finished article and requires constant attention to ensure everything is in place. Content creation is extremely poor. Why does my text overlay my headings? Why does my content cut off half way? Why is there no easy way to create a table of data? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Optimizely Content Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?

Content management. The benefits include: Episerver gives us a CMS platform for easy content management. Not extremely well but the tools are there.

Episerver also has a number of great features which could make this system extremely powerful, but it is not a finished product and certainly not the future of content management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Episerver is a solid, well-built product. It requires almost no maintenance and has been running for us for years without incident. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Optimizely Content Management System?

The eSync portion keeps staging and production in sync and provides version control. To the extent that we've learned to use eSync, it is somewhat limited. It also seems to be lacking in its ability to revert, particularly to retrieve deleted content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fairly easy to add new pages & work from templates. Fluid layout allows content to be added to pages fairly easily. Meta information is easy to update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Difficult to work with in terms of integration with other products that need to dynamically change content. Inability to support iFrames. No 'bulk' edit function for Meta data and content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
