I wish the basic automation was visual so you could map your marketing sequence out for emails. I thought this was going to be part of my plan, but it wasn't. Could have been an honest mistake. The original UIX wasn't very appealing or intuitive, but they've done a great job improving these areas with their new UIX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like I got almost all the must have tools in one pack for communication. Advanced email automation that is just got a new function of graphical campaign builder. Also, my subscription is include a live chat and a chat bot and both works well with my sites. No slowing down or other script issues that are not common in this kind of services.
If I had an issue the team was super responsive and helpful, that is essential for every business. The email delivery is great, so virtually no email has landed into spam folder.
Finally, the knowledge base is an excellent alternative for other Saas solutions. We just started to use this feature and our team is very satisfied with the results.

Rarely a few glitches can slow me down, but usually it's not a typical issue. Also, a few months back we experienced some email delivery problems, but the Gist team finally fixed it. It's hard to say a bad word about it.

Great tool for managing contacts and much more. In-app messaging system with calendar integration for scheduling meetings makes setting up calls a breeze. We can also directly send knowledge base articles from within the messenger. Ability to tag/assign tickets/conversations to other team mates so there's no need to use supplemental tools for task assignments. Tracks user activity and provides real-time data! What i like about Gist is their price combined with their essential marketing tools that you need every day on your operation. Whatever website you have, you need GIst. The founder (Jitta) is cool, but the support is really slow. They also face some delivery problem with the email they work and my account still get block it....so is really annoying

We are using different systems in our day to day life but we are looking for all in one automation tool to make it simple and centralize. Then we found GIST (Formerly ConvertFox) and it fulfilled most of the requirements. We are able to close the deal and connect with the customer fast and in a uniform way. The combination of live chat and email marketing makes it far easier to connect with leads and nurture them till they are ready to buy. It’s a much more friendly experience for the visitors to my site than trying to get them to force them into my funnel my way. With the added integrations, I can get the information I collect into my CRM to track leads and manually take over from automation sequences when the timing is right. Although there are almost limitless integrations with zapier, I’d like more native integrations which are easier to set up. Also the embedded form options are slightly limited and more tricky to implement than some options from Mailchimp or ConvertKit. Gist provides endless ways of interacting with customers. I can chat and email with them, track their usage on my site, qualify them, add tags and other profile information, and so much more. There is even an awesome live view that lets me spy on visitors to see how they're using the site. The tools are powerful, easy to use, and constantly getting improvements. It seems like every week there is another update being rolled out that substantially extends the functionality or usability of the features in Gist. I am blown away. Plan limits can be confusing. For example, there is a monthly charge for support and a monthly charge for "growth," plus there's a separate charge depending on how many contacts and seats you have. Perhaps this is normal in the industry, but it can make it a little challenging to understand the bill every month.
Additionally, the vast amount of features means development will never be as fast as you'd like it to be (even though they release updates all the time). This may not actually be a valid concern, and it certainly isn't unique to Gist (who doesn't have a wishlist they're waiting on their favorite SaaS to get to?), but I do believe the likelihood of being stuck without your desired feature being developed goes up a lot as the product gets bigger and bigger. I very much like how the conversations with website visitors are in a very user-friendly type of chat interface like I'm used to from social media, while still having the power to tag teammates, assign tasks, and add details on the contact. I also like that it can handle requests that come in via email and Facebook Messenger in addition to our on-site chat widget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
