What do you like best about Gist?

The integration of all the features is killer. Contacts, leads, marketing emails, automation emails, knowledge base, all tie together really well. The UI is nicely laid out and easy to use. As is the APPI, if you need to dive that deep. Well thought and full featured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

I had a couple of issues importing contacts from my app but the support team sorted me out in a few minutes. No else to dislike really. I use Intercom for another business so the concepts and interface were already felt very familiar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Gist solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm using Gist in a SaaS product to welcome and on-board new users and to send new feature emails. Also using automations to trigger messages based on certain user actions.. What do you like best about Gist?

Most valuable for me is the feature rich integration between the solid chat platform and Email Marketing that Gist provides. It has become an indispensable part of my set up. In the beginning I did not like that the brand name back then (Convertfox) was visible below the chatbox. I thought that this was not an ideal name for my customers. (They dont want to be converted or outstmarted by a fox). But fortunately they changed the brand name to Gist. I like that much better.

What I like a lot is also that since I have been using Gist (former Convertfox) it has been deploying new features on a regular basis. I feel confident that this will be a future in the hands of a solid company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

I have a hard time to come up with something that I dislike. Perhaps that the interface is not in German? Or that adding additinal staff could be cheaper? Or that it should find me new leads automatically? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

Streamlined interface with a lot of features that work together. Super simple to tag and untag contacts and visitors, send follow up emails, and re-engaged past customers with minimal time and effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not much to dislike, the platform has been constantly improving over the past few years and I've been very impressed with what the Gist team has pulled off - looking forward to seeing more as they continue to develop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

I like how I can target specific people on my email list. Just because they're on my list doesn't mean that they'll get an email. I can send email to particular tags so that as I add new tags, I can target emails to specific people for a better experience for them and a better result for my efforts. What do you dislike about Gist?

Their basic lead capture forms, pop-ups. Hope they can create a better editor for this one so that we can build good looking forms that are enticing for our website visitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

I've come to depend on the live chat feature so much that I cannot run my business without it. The mobile app makes my dream of running my business remotely a reality. Two months ago I was on the Swiss Alps and got a message from a potential client, I was able to close the customer while spending the day on the mountain top. What do you like best about Gist?

Gist has came a long way. Love the automations. One of the best all in 1 marketing I have ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gist?

There is a staggered email send limit. However, I believe if you are not using the platform for spam purposes and legit reasons, it is understandable that they need to keep their mail server clean for deliverability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Gist?

Gist app for chatting is great and incredibly easy to set up on our business. It allows us to track user interaction on our web, enable us to recognize the consumer behavior on our homepage, and also monitor chat discussions. What do you dislike about Gist?

Gist could enhance its usability for pop-ups and front ends to make a better incorporation into the homepage. Although Gist has a huge number of functionalities, this means that the advancement never gets as quick as I want, and even if updates are released constantly, they don't usually cover some aspects of the basic functionalities. Gist is an extremely useful tool for departments or groups who want to include service, support, and branding in the same manner. I think it is suitable for a company with very personalized products, as it will allow them to reach customers proactively and stay 100% involved in the selling process. We use Gist as an electronic answering tool for leads who choose our reference and to schedule meetings, so it takes away the need to connect to clients or departments by using several programs. What do you like best about Gist?

Through Gist, you will communicate with your customers regularly and in an effective way. It has some great shapes integrated, and a large variety of design options, that are much better than seasoned options. The scheduling and adaptability of the layout is an advantage as well. The desktop app is great and makes it easy to set up your addresses and the mobile app enables us to monitor and manage customer service on the move for all support problems, so you will be able to manage this from any device. What do you dislike about Gist?

I would like to see more email marketing capabilities within Gist, but it doesn't look like they are going to apply this soon. Also, I would like to have a more configurable chatbot toolbar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My company uses Gist for WebClient, trying to book demos and email marketing on our homepage. This enables us to quickly involve potential customers, which has greatly increased modifications. Although it is mainly used in the marketing department, everybody in my business has access to Gist as its uses expand to other departments.
