"Usage of Browserstack as a QA tester"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

It provides a lot of useful features required for testers like myself when it comes to testing on mobile devices. I personally use this particularly with the app testing functionality that allows me to test our company apps on different devices. This is extremely useful as it allows us to test on devices with different e.g resoultions without having to have physical devices Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

On some occasions (For unknown reasons) there have been circumstances where bugs detected in the browserstack application do not occur on physcial mobile devices (Although the exact same device and steps are repeated), we are unsure as to what this reason is. "It provides a wide range of mobile and desktop browsers for manual and automation testing."
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like the cross-browser and device testing most. I do use the App-Live feature daily. It was a real time saver for QA testing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

1) It hangs sometime during the App-Live testing.

2) The log window also hangs sometimes, we have to close the session and relaunch it again.

3) The local config plug-in pop-up comes randomly.

4) Need to install the App each time when we start new session Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real devices, easy to set up and to use!"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

It's very easy to use and implement. Not using many features of BS, just testing implementations on real devices. Using it for each feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Nothing much, really. Scrolling on iOS is a bit funky but this is an OS limitation? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BrowserStack make it really easy for testing whether it is manual or automated."
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

As a developer, it really helped me for testing the features and cover all the use cases. It cover a wide range of browsers and operating system which enhances the user experience. It works well with Jenkins and makes the automation testing really smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes it becomes slow when we test on real devices. Local testing feature is sometimes slow and gets delayed due to session time outs. Also, It is expensive for a comparatively small group of developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BrowserStack evaluation after 5 years"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

- Provide a great variety of real mobile devices in the Cloud

- Easy interface to run manual and automation testing

- Continuous improvement of their products for example recently with the introduction of AI

- Good customer support

- Many features available to simulate real case scenarios Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

- For our employees who worked from the East Asia, the latency is a bit slower

- Sometimes, we have some issues with some specific devices but after raising those issues to BrowserStack, usually they work on fixing them

- The device is reset at the end of the session so it can be a problem if you have a lot of things to initiate/configure before your testing, you will need to redo it all the time you will start a new session. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Mobile Testing with BrowserStack"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

At my present company, I first became aware of BrowserStack. We utilize it to execute automation scripts on a variety of mobile platforms, such as iOS and Android. It also facilitates manual testing on device with different screen sizes. I value the extensive feature set that BrowserStack offers and the ease with which my team can test our apps on several platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

For my development workflow, the use cases are a little bit constrained. Since we mostly rely on user agents to identify device capabilities and render device specific experience, Chrome DevTools is typically adequate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
