"Great Tool for cross device and mobile testing!"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I have used browser stack mostly for testing web apps and SDKs on various mobile devices. I like the wide choice of devices it gives me. I also like many features that speed up the test setup, such as launching a specific browser on a specific website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I feel like the device selection could be more diverse, it seems to be heavily focused on Apple and Samsung. I've also had several instances of devices, failing to start, but usually it was fixed after a few attempts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Web and Mobile Testing Platform"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

I like the breadth of features that BrowserStack offers and how it allows my team to easily test our applications across a variety of platforms. The comprehensive suite of tools offered by BrowserStack enable us to maintain our high bar of quality without needing to maintain a wide variety of actual physical hardware. Additionally the fact that BrowserStack supports industry standards for automation like Appium is great for ensuring that we're not locked into a vendor specific framework. What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

A lack of access to beta mobile OS releases is the only issue I currently have. We're running into users that are right on the bleeding edge of mobile OS's and with the recently increased security, we're starting to test on the public beta mobile OS releases, but are having to do this on our own physical devices due to the lack of beta OS support on the BrowserStack devices. "One of the finest testing tool in the market"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

1.Facility to test on nearly all Browsers and Mobile Devices :

Supports all devices and browsers , this tool has made our life much easier. Earlier we use to face so hard time with UC browser but this tool has all.

2.No setup required - Another best thing about browerstack is you just login and start your testing. UI is user friendly and easily understandable.

3.Our organization has integrated it with Jenkins and Git so we can create a build and track the snapshots

4.Amazing support -Very knowledgable people to support you in case of any issues.

5. Multiple people can use at same time - We are involved in collaborative testing and we are using it in nearly all our clients whenever we change the build or add a new feature or say for any CC we do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

1. Sometimes some specific versions are not there which cause delays. One such use cases we faced where client raised the concern that he is not able to use the app in oneplus 7t and we didn't find oneplus7t at that time under Oneplus tab

2.Sometimes we have faced slowness when we have heavy web applications but it is managable.

3. We sometimes face problem when we test for logins, we have 2FA nearly in all clients and most of the time we need to disable because we can't bypass it. If we can bypass it would be more convinient for us

4.Free session is of 2 minutes only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BrowserStack is not suited for professional testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Support team was very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

The list of available iPadOS versions was very limited and not extensive. You cannot see minor versions and patch versions until you start a session. Some bugs occur only in specific minor versions, not across the entire major version. Therefore, there should be an option for users to select iPadOS versions based on minor and patch release versions.

iPad apps running in AAC mode had no success launching on BrowserStack's "real" iPads. It appears that what BrowserStack offers is no better than what is already available in the Simulator from Xcode.

I found it hard to work on BrowserStack's devices as the text was very blurry, making it difficult to read. I'm not sure if automation tests will succeed with such blurred images. Also, pages on BrowserStack load very slow, even profile pages load slow and I have very fast internet.

In conclusion, you still need real physical devices. You will only be able to test a portion of cases on BrowserStack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Uses of BrowserStack in Testing"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

As BrowserStack supports multi device / multi platform testing of the website that will help us to identify our website compatibility with multi device and platform and we can also change our country just to check that our website is working with the io of different country or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

We use browserStack for our mobile automation it works very slow and at a time only one instance is launched and if anything fails so to debug that sometimes we are unable to see the recording on this part browserStack have to think how to handle this efficiently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps for device coverage"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

Recent bug capture tool is very helpful for us. Previously we were just using browserstack to verify things in different devices. Now we are using bug capture a lot. We used to record videos and download network/console logs and share with the developers. Now we just share one bug capture link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

We are not able to understand the capabilities of browserstack for automation. Pricing is high. We can't try for some weeks and then take a subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential for every website developer"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

This is really THE way to quickly test on a variety of devices. No fuss, just click which screen resolution, which device, which browser and go. A bit slow at times but for testing purposes more than sufficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes you do have to search a little longer among all the options but rather too much than too little. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pleased with BrowserStack"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

The team at BrowserStack always seems to be innovating. They are very responsive in their communications and using the tool has been fairly simple without requiring that we go through a rigorous training of any kind. Further they continually offer thought leadership and are transparent about the features that they are working to bring to market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

I'm not always in the trenches, but have heard from my team that they wish there were more features around testing and reporting on digital accessibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BrowserStack allows me to test responsiveness all in one place"
What do you like best about BrowserStack?

As a developer, what I like most about BrowserStack is the ability to test the responsiveness of the websites and the apps I'm developing in different browsers and different devices all in one place. This can save a lot of time that will result to more delivery of features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BrowserStack?

Sometimes during my testing, I was getting inconsistent results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
