I would like to have a much different UI (eg a different color on header) so I know when I use the company StackOverflow for Teams and not the open one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Developers are familiar with StackOverflow. The interface is easy to use and easily searchable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be hard to get adoption as opposed to asking questions directly on Slack. Maintaining docs can be difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our knowledge base was pretty fragmented before. Most people relied on Slack to find solutions to a problem - and if they didn't find one from searching thousands of messages, they'd post in a Slack channel and wait for someone with the right expertise to respond. That puts a lot of pressure on certain people, and in a lot of cases, questions are answered multiple times over a year or two. Stack Overflow for Teams has optimized this all for us! Stack Overflow has always been great at providing excellent search results for a query - it's how most of us became professional engineers. That's no different here! The only thing that's been a downside is that we've had to change our habits to stop posting questions to Slack. Being able to direct questions to specific people is a big help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

data is unified in one spot, so it's simpler to know where to searching for and search is significantly more effective than different devices we were utilizing to enlist information.
Additionally every engineer is familiar with SO and this makes much simpler to new colleagues since there is essentially no expectation to absorb information to utilize the apparatus and since is so natural more individuals were urged to record information that was recently limited to one individual, since it functions admirably more individuals search there prior to asking on or slack channel.
The email with synopsis of what occurred in the week in the organization's SO is exceptionally useful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I figure it would be great if in the event that it were more straightforward to outwardly recognize while I'm looking on my organization's SO or while I'm looking in the general population SO.
One thing that you could work on would be the likelihood to choose the prior labels in the pursuit box, rather than counseling them in that menu on the left of the screen, it is hard to see that menu.
Not related with the item fundamentally however this inquiry here was confounding "What is your industry while utilizing this item?". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's helpful to have a quick tool for searching common or rare problems while working on a project. I don't need to stop my colleague from their work to help me, and I can speed up my productivity. With widespread problems, I can bookmark the questions and keep them accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it does the job done. The only problem is to learn how to write a well-formed question with all the necessary tags to find it back later easily. But with some practice, you can do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Great to have all the well known features of stackoverflow which made the site such a success in the first place. Great to have it private, to discuss company sensitive information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The format is of course somewhat restricted: there is no proper place to broadly announce information or to have longer discussion, no chat functionality, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use of the interface and integrations with messaging systems like Slack Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Inability to embed documents. The QA answer format does not lend itself to deeper topics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It brings SO questions into the public for everyone at my company to see in case they don't regularly check the site. I just use microsoft teams (desktop client) and an internet browser and I don't miss anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The use case is a little redundant within my company (~500 people). Most people don't use stack overflow regularly and won't go out of their way to answer any random question that pops up. Most people will mute or ignore a bot that constantly spits out monotonous reminders for unanswered questions. Usually when you want to get a question answered you'll end up hunting down a specific person at the company and linking him/her to the question directly. There's not enough enforcement to get relevant people on the question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
