What do you dislike about Teamcenter?

The complexity, it's not easy to get started, overwhelming for inexperienced users. EasyPlan / AWC has made it easier, but a lot of features are still only accessible behind hidden navigation flows.

For example, in EasyPlan, one of the areas that a production engineer most accesses is the Process Planning area, but the default way to access it is by first navigating to High Level planning, selecting a line, clicking a 3 dot menu and choosing Process Planning. Process planning is currently done through disconnected and poorly managed Excel tables. What do you like best about NX CAD?

The oft-advanced notion that the advantages of NX are mainly about "free-form stuff" is false. Even if you're primarily doing work involving traditional machined parts (as I do), the toolset in NX allows for faster workflows both in concept and in production design. Equally importantly, the toolset in NX enables quick accommodation and steering of late-breaking concept and scope changes, which is a great factor regarding client satisfaction (and thus repeat business). There's seemingly "basic" functionality that requires costly extra licenses in NX, which can be irritating sometimes. But it's understandable given the stability and quality of the system in general, as well as the frequency with which useful enhancements get added -- obviously, the NX software development is at a very high level and this has to cost something. What do you like best about Close?

What I like most about Close is how the onboarding for my immediate team was. At the moment I have everyone who I communicate with daily signed up with their own subaccounts and we're able to manage each stage of our pipeline per job without any problems. Close support helped us assign roles based on team member responsibilities and from there I can view how everyone is doing on their daily assigned tasks through the custom dashboard we put together. With our subcontractors I can easily add them as contents to and send and receive messages from my personal number and email which saves a lot of time changing between apps and services. Highly recommend Close and I wouldn't switch it for anything else.

While Pipedrive is exceptional at what it's designed for—managing the sales pipeline—my primary frustration stems from its limitations as an all-in-one CRM solution. I truly wish I could use it as the single source of truth for our entire customer lifecycle, but it falls short once a deal is won. The lack of an integrated customer support or helpdesk feature is a major hurdle. After closing a deal, we're forced to switch to a separate ticketing system to manage client inquiries and support issues. This creates a disconnect, making it difficult to have a unified view of a customer's history and interactions without constantly toggling between platforms or relying on integrations that don't always feel seamless. Furthermore, its marketing capabilities, while improving, are still too basic for our needs, lacking the sophisticated automation and in-depth analytics required for complex nurture campaigns. This means we're juggling a third platform for marketing, a second for support, and Pipedrive for sales. It's an excellent sales tool, but my hope for a single, elegant solution to manage everything from lead generation to long-term customer support within Pipedrive remains unfulfilled. What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Despite its strengths, there are areas where NetSuite feels disjointed or underdeveloped. For example:

Some fields are only usable in resource management and not available elsewhere, which creates unnecessary limitations.

Project task functionality feels like an afterthought, not a fully integrated part of the system.

It's frustrating that Service Items can’t be linked to employees without a custom script — especially when selling professional services is the majority of our business.

We've had a support ticket open for over a year regarding a syntax error, and there’s still no resolution.

We also have an open support ticket related to mass updates on effective-dated fields in employee records. Every year, when we perform these updates, the system wipes out the “special skills” section — even when using forms where that section is hidden. Despite multiple attempts and troubleshooting, the issue remains unresolved after more than a year.

Nothing here would keep me from recommending the system to others. In fact, some of these issues and those not mentioned convinced me to work towards certification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NetSuite gives us a centralized system to manage our operations, financials, and project-based activities all in one place. It replaces disconnected tools and spreadsheets by integrating project management, time tracking, billing, reporting, and general ledger into a single platform. This helps ensure consistency, improves visibility across departments, and supports better decision-making.

It also gives our teams access to real-time data, which is critical for both day-to-day operations and long-term planning. For a business like ours — with a mix of R&D, professional services, and manufacturing — having one system to manage everything reduces manual effort, minimizes errors, and provides the foundation for scalability. What do you like best about Capsule CRM?

Have been using Capsule every day for the best part of 12 years now.

It's very user-friendly and easy to set up get to grips with. The opportunity and projects features are fantastic for keeping on top of tasks, and the new pipeline reporting features that are regularly being added are also solid additions to the tool.

The filtering options are great and allow for custom lists of contacts/opportunities/projects with all sorts of criteria which can be really useful for multifaceted businesses like ours.

Also plenty of third-party integrations that are available - it's on my to-do list to check out the other options that could improve workflow.

What do you dislike about Capsule CRM?

It would be nice to be able to choose different plans for different users within an account - not all users need the advanced reporting and perhaps only have access in order to see customer details, so it can really add to the subscription costs in these instances. It integrates with various productivity and reporting tools through Microsoft AppSource, like the Send To Email Printer app that allows remote printing and the Power BI Usage Analytics app that facilitates platform usage tracking and supervision.

It facilitates our business task assignment and reporting among team members. The dashboard customization feature allows us to hide tools we don't use and focus on the most used ones, like email notifications, task information, and project status, directly within the main dashboard. What do you like best about Zoho CRM?

I love how the search feature can find an account with just a few letters or numbers. Excellent search feature. I love the smooth messenger and all the features it comes with including blocking reps from sending outside approved hours and it will give you a pop up and stop a text if you're sending a duplicate to the same person.
