The unbelievable extra amount of work that is required to do everything. Example: Want to add a part from a dealer to the estimate? Well, you have to build that in your catalog first, set it all up and then you can. Manually sending the invoice, and inspection report when closing the work order should be automatic, not 6 extra clicks.

Everything is layered on something else and if 1 piece is off, the whole thing doesn't work smooth.

The training was non existent and I had to rely on asking questions to the techs via the chat, which is good to have, but when a customer is standing in front of you and they want to go, and you need to message support for something that should have been trained, is very embarrassing.

We were constantly told during the zoom calls we can't do certain things, but after playing around on my own, I found that there was a bunch of things we wanted that we can do, they just didn't tell us, or are not aware that it can be done. I felt talked down to, not really listened to, and my questions during the zoom calls often brushed off and ignored.

The work board is terrible as there is no organization when making work orders. There is no quick way to see what's coming in next, how much time is left in the day available for work. You must go to the calendar for that, but they push using the work board.

The calendar is ok but the pop ups constantly get in the way and that info could easily be in the appointment area. You can't do a 15 minute appt because the name has to fit so it auto adjusts to 30 minutes.

Having a system that requires unique names otherwise it adds a number at the end is silly.

Our on boarding was 4 zoom meetings during tire season where I was only able to pay attention to about 1 hour total of the training, no one came to the store when we went live, just had a zoom call open for support, and only for 1 day.

When they added the second store, my inventory got all messed up and I had to spend several hours fixing that.

They require MOTOR integration and it doesn't accept Canadian vehicles so you have to look up oil and filter information elsewhere when they come in.

After 7 weeks of using the system daily, I have gotten faster but there are still so many steps.

Can't punch techs out if they forget, simply have to wait until 11:59pm for it to auto happen, can't edit times when techs are clocked in, they have to clock out, adjust the time and clock back in which then that time needs to be adjusted, cycle repeats.

Far to many confirm notices that need hitting, and the cancel is the default so you can't even hit enter to pass though, it's more clicking.

Bell notifications are excessive, notification pops for everything you do. Schedule something, move it to another tech, tech punches on or off, finishes, changes jobs. Need to know when they raise a flag, when approvals come in from online estimates, the rest could be separate and less intrusive.

Our experience with Bill.com has been extremely disappointing. Their verification process is an absolute nightmare — we were asked to submit the same documents 4-5 times, and even after doing so, they continued to flag issues without providing any clear resolution.

What made this worse was the quality of their support. Every interaction with their support team felt like going in circles — no real ownership, no actionable guidance, just the same scripted responses that don’t actually address the problem. It's clear that their internal processes and customer support infrastructure are broken.

We chose Bill.com expecting it to simplify our AR workflows — instead, it created more headaches and delays. We’ve wasted far too much time on something that should be straightforward. I like this product but there are some issues which i faced during my usage. As a user I have to post multiple transfer entries from one bank account to other. so I cant do this via upload csv for this i have to do multiple manual entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Netsuite is mainly helping us in Accounting. It helps us in monitoring Inventory accurately and recording accounts payable via PO. This is very helpful and make our work easy. With the help of this we can easily monitor inventory, In this way it is helping us. One of the downsides of the Tekmetric software would be related to the tekmerchant card machines, any transaction that is processed on a Friday or Saturday will not be deposited into the shops' account until Monday or Tuesday, which can make it more difficult during slow months or hard times.

Another thing I noticed that becomes a little tedious is that after a vehicle is manually entered into the system, entering the license plate afterwards will not decode and enter the VIN, that has to be manually entered unless enter the plate number when the new vehicle is initially added.

It would be nice if there was a quick estimate option where the customer information was not required for when giving estimates over the phone.

Although a very rare occurrence, our shop has run into an issue with retro-fitted vehicles where we can not change the motor or transmission information as it does not match the VIN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recently, our shop hit a substantial financial crisis, Tekmetrics offered services has been instrumental in helping us to stay open and operating. While not a common problem, the picture aspect of the inspections has been a significant help with disgruntled customers regarding pre-existing cosmetic and mechanical conditions on vehicles. Not too much. It is one of my vendors that I am very happy with. If I had to have a suggestion, it would be on the savable templates. They are not editable in a way that streamlines our processes, so we generally have to create a brand new template or deal with the way its done. (add a line in the template at the top for alphabetical purposes vs. having to add at bottom). Also, I wish there were more customizable workflows. We have to manually select the workflows b/c we have many managers for similar invoices. I wish we could have workflow templates we could select vs. having to manually add approvers. I use Salesforce Revenue Cloud mainly to manage quotes and invoices in a more orderly way. While Zoho Books is overall a fantastic platform, there are a few areas that could be improved. The biggest one for me is the limited customization in certain reports and templates—sometimes I wish I could tweak layouts or add specific fields more freely. When doing a deeper dive to set up marketing templates, realised you have to pay even more to simply adjust your templates !! A big mis sell to me also using Zapier to drag information into the platform did not work, so issues in pushing the correct data you want for your clients in the solution and was unable to resolve, with both parties blaming each other. One thing that is currently lacking but will soon be updated (based on their teams product development roadmap) is the ability to create contracts with a drag and drop type builder in the portal as well the ability to create dynamic proposals using the portal. We needed a turnkey solution to manage our current clients and keep them in the loop on their projects. We have been using a variety of tools with manual communication to do all this and Copilot allows us to consolidate everything into one platform. This allows us to save time and run our operations more efficiently internally and for our clients thus resulting in better client onboarding and overal client experience. The calendar is buggy and it doesn't offer me the option of seeing all the calendars of the whole office at the same time. I coordinate the schedule and I need to see everyone's availability. We keep practice info at our fingertips and use it to track time. I also like the task tracking and the ability to set up task flows that trigger the next step on completion of the previous. When we manage to fully automate the »Order 2 Cash« process we will save plenty of time and resources. Monetization is currently used primarily for annual and monthly billing of our clients for cloud computing services such as secure data storage and SaaS products. I am a customer of a detailer in Orlando that used Shopmonkey. They decided to move to different software and Shopmonkey gave their text number to a direct competitor in town called Empire Auto Spa. I texted my origional detailer to get a couple of projects scheduled and got a response quickly. Nowhere in the response did Empire communicate who they were. They pretended to be my detailer and never identified themselves anywhere in the thread. I figured it out when I got some calls from Empire, that I did not answer, and then got an email summary of the text communications. The point is if you do business with Shopmonkey just know that when you leave they are going to route your customer inquiries to a direct competitor. If that's not illegal it should be.
