What do you like best about Aladtec by TCP?

Being able to see our schedule many days and weeks ahead of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aladtec by TCP?

I was told we could create events and hire people for them but that doesn't seem to be the case. I've had to make a new "apparatus" to assign people and positions to before making this work. Customer Support has been great but are limited to answer what they know, not what we were told. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Aladtec by TCP?

The best thing about the the scheduling software is the versitility of the system. It tryly is an "all in one" system which allows you to schedule, process payroll, manage time, track time off and allow for sign up of events. We can even track what qualifications staff have along with who is working to ensure safety and compliance of staff. Customer support is easy to use and always available. They are willing to look into your problem. We also set up intigrations with other products to allow for ease of operation. Our staff is in the system daily and it is used for much more than scheduling. We use it for an all around department management. Overall implimentation was easy to set up and transition from another comapny. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aladtec by TCP?

Only thing i dislike about the system is the staffing section. I need it to manage one calendar/schedule at a time not thw whole schedule. Especially when checking for position qualifications of staffing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

The staff attenpts to help you as best as they can; the level 2 support techs are very helpful at resolving concerns. The product is often a marvel. Every feature implemented within the base system is incredibly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

The level 1 support techs are less than worthless most of the time. My knowledge of the system often far exceeded their own and I was a customer. When the product doesn't work as intended, the team will fight you to claim that it is, then claim that it will cost you, and will fight you to implement things that their own documentation states is already implemented. "So many advantages. So few minuses."

What do you like best about Aladtec by TCP?

So many features with TCP Aladtec. We don't use anywhere near all of them and it is still a great value for our agency.

The drag and drop ability in the hourly editor is awesome. Makes altering an employee's work hours within a single date so easy.

The ability to use so many features either on a computer or cell phone/tablet is very handy.

Emplyees swapping shifts by initiating in TCP Aladtec themselves is a time saver.

The system is very customizable as to different positions within our agency.

We have officers that rotate through 6 different 4-week schedules. While TCP Aladtec has to set up the rotations, once shown how to make them rotate, scheduling an officer from scratch is fairly simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aladtec by TCP?

When logging in to work with the current dates or week, one has to scroll to the appropriate week in the calendar. It would be beneficial that the calendaer immediately goes to the current dates.

When cancelling a time off request, one has to manually restore that employee's shift in the schedule. It would be great if that employee's shift was immediately restored in the schedule upon the cancellation of the time off request.

I wish it connected with our payroll system, but that is produced by a differnet software company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"TimeClockPlus: Pros, Cons, and Features"

What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

TimeClockPlus is a comprehensive time and attendance tracking software solution that offers a wide range of features to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes. It is easy to use and implement, and it provides a variety of ways for employees to clock in and out, including through a web browser, mobile app, or physical time clock device. Sales and Support have been very helpful with us, and while pricey, I would have to say it's well-valued due to the dedication of the TCP team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

Some features require additional setup or integrations, which took some time to figure out.

The rest of my 'cons' are more specific to our situation, so keep in mind that if you are going to use TimeClockPlus, you may have to change some of your processes with your staff. We had difficulty with automating timesheet approvals, integrating our payroll accounts, multiple shift schedules, and time off management. Be thorough with your sales rep, TCP was very honest with us but they had no way of knowing our budgeting schema is from the 1930's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The migration king"

What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

I have worked with TCP support on several occations.

Most of them had to do with our current setup is a hybrad as we have some older clocks that require a local server but we also are a cloud Customer.

But where TCP Support realy shinned was helping with a Migration and upgrade to the latest version.

Literally did the whole thing for me remotely while I watched on. It was above and beyond what is expected out of support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

Becuase we run a hybrad (local server and cloud) we have some unique issues that are bothersome.

It seems like ever time there is an upgrade pushed out it breaks something in our local server.

That being said it's only a quick call to TCP Support and they have always resolved on 1st call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

TCP is user friendly for our workforce. This product is simple to understand and doesn't waste employee time trying to sort out time off requests. I love the notes feature because it is a quick way for me to get information to staff individually or as a group to ensure a prompt completion of payroll cycles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TimeClock Plus by TCP?

Sometimes our hardware for the point of contact / physical clock in goes in and out of functioning and has to be rebooted. This seems par for the course when working with any technology though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
