741 Stack Overflow for Teams Reviews
When you work for a big corporation, it's impossible to know exactly what your colleagues do or what their knowledge is. For these reasons, Stack Overflow is perfect to find the right person and solution for your problem. Tags really help in your search, and the structure of the site is very well defined, which helps you find the answer to your problem if another colleague already asked a similar question in the past. So, all in all, a real life-saver for those who work remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Basically nothing, but if I had to say something, it would be the fact that the answer is not immediate, and it could take a few days before a colleague notices your question (but this isn't exactly a problem of the platform). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's really good for niche questions about our software. People can ask very specific questions without worrying about leaking some important company secret on the internet. Tags and collections keep things organized, which makes it much easier to search for existing questions. People in my company don't really use the up-vote system, but I could see it being useful for bigger organizations. I use it every day, mutliple times a day, and it's always been very straightforward and helpful to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the things I wish would be improved is the search feature. I often have to tweak my search to find articles that I know exist, but won't come up unless I use a specific combination of keywords. Additionally, Stack Overflow teams isn't great for new hires unless you put in an investment in making and answering questions and articles about basic things about your software. I find people use it to ask very niche questions, which often end up drowning out the more generally asked questions (which tend to be more helpful). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love being able to consistently track information related to our company. There are so many ways to tag the questions, and tag specific users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing lacking really stands out to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Stack Overflow feels like home, I love contributing to it, and love being able to use it with my enterprise Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have to ask a question, sometime the title would be enough.
Also, it's quite hard to implement it with non tecky people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it allows us to search across Q&A and Articles in order to make it easy for folks to find answers to common questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The search feature could be improved when looking for a partial word match. For example, an article referency MySQL will not be found when searching for SQL unless the sql tag was added to the article. I also would like to be able to apply more tags to questions and documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SO for Teams is useful for the fact that all problems asked there are preserved indefinitely by default. One could look up previously encountered issues via internal communicators (such as Slack), however it is most often the case that messages sent there disappear after a specific period of time.
Additionally, the look up on SO seems to be better due to the possibility of searching by tags. And the UI is already familiar to everyone who ever coded anything, so there is close to none learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I suppose the main downside is that many asks are often done outside of SO - limiting the amount of data available there for look up. Very much depends on company culture and approach to this toolset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We get all the benefits of StackOverflow - comments, voting system, etc. The familiarity (as most developers have used StackOverflow before) make it easy to use and get used to.
We used to use channels for team questions across the company but it was difficult to look up similar issues and we had the same questions being asked over and over again. Now we have a proper sharing knowledge hub.
Customer Support seems adequate as well, with a built-in chat for any quick questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't found any downsides so far. Will update if I ever find any Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can organize team resources as questions and answers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even with a small amount of content, ability of users to get notifications of new questions is explicitly disabled by Stack Overflow, greatly reducing participation and usefulness (i.e., users have to *manually* check for new content). The UI for handling multiple Teams is quite poor, making it cumbersome. The UI to even file a support request is rediculously poor, taking minutes to (not) get bot responses, just to get a link to the site to file a support request and/or a bug report. Bug reports/feature requests get responses, but no action, even for simple issues. Development of features is poor. The content editor provided is, at best, cumbersome, has the Markdown with preview mode explicitly disabled/removed, and will often completely remove the post content and/or corrupt the post content. It lacks integration with external tools which a team would use and/or doesn't have such tools available (e.g., chat/messaging). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love using Stackoverflow Teams as a communication tool between our support team and development teams. It keeps track of all the past questions the dev team has been asked and gets the conversations out of personal direct messages where no one gets to benefit from it. I wish there were better integrations with Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
questions and answers have regular updates, you can follow a questions to see new answers, rating of questions provide better understanding of which answers are likely better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Search is not very good. It does not show good results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
