What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

The ease with which this tool allows you to breeze through and look up information is incredible. It has flawless integrations with ConnectWise, which we use, which I set up in a matter of minutes. It also is remarkably responsive, never lagging, and they've had no outages since I've started with them years ago at this point. In addition, the price point is phenomenal and fairly grows with your business. It is a great tool to utilize in QBRs and tough (cheap) clients are much more receptive to hardware upgrades when they see the reports we create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

I don't have enough time in my current role to dig deeper into some of the advancements and how they might play into my business or to my clients. When I have a vendor-specific employee I think this will be even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I seriously can't give a better recommendation to a vendor. There have been no problems, no issues, no downtime, and billing is extremely fair. It's a great tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ScalePad Lifecycle Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

Increase in sales based on expired warranties and the proof that I'm not just there "selling" hardware to the client. They are more trusting and it becomes what I've started calling our, "document of truth" between the client and us for hardware decisions. What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

ScalePad provides real-time status of machines from a lifecycle experience, meaning we are able to stop the guessing process of how old equipment is and reducing the time to attain that info. Scalepad doesn't present duplicate assets very well expecially if it is getting data from multiple integrations as you cannot tell when the asset was first discovered so an asset may have deuplicate entries but different OS for each asset but you do not know which one is the most current Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

ScalePad has allowed us to decrease the time we spend looking up warranty expirations. It has also allowed us to quickly and easily assemble hardware refresh plans for our Clients. Their support has also been very helpful when we've reached out to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the issues we have experienced were around doing specific reporting. We have been able to leverage their support team when these issues have occurred and had them quickly corrected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

Reporting was a major value add, however the value ended there. Warranty was promoted as a similar approach as OEM but this was not the case. They work more like an insurance company as they make money by how often they don't service a device. In addition, they solf this service as a 24 hour turn around time however, when you need them, they state industry shortages and major delays. They should update this in their SLA. What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

The account managers don't care about you at all and send very general responses. I was also promised a $300 credit that I am not able to use. I have been lied to time after time with no way to escalate. This is not a misunderstanding of policy or fine print either. I have cancelled my renewal and will never use this company again. I would recommend you stay away. There are other ways to get this service without the painful customer experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

The ScalePad dashboard is handy. It displays all of your client's hardware details in one interface, showing brand, model, purchase date, warranty status, serial number and other useful data for most major manufacturers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScalePad Lifecycle Manager?

ScalePad does not deliver on their warranty coverage. After being with ScalePad for 16 months, I've made a grand total of three warranty claims, all on workstations with the Next Business Day warranty coverage purchased through ScalePad. The first claim was fulfilled in three weeks, the second claim in two weeks and the third in 10 days. Fortunately, I was able to learn this about ScalePad on workstation issues and not with issues involving servers in critical roles. A day or two delay due to availability is not unheard of, but the time frames I experienced with every claim were just unacceptable. And after three such delays in a row, it seems that ScalePad's insistence that such delays are unusual for them is untrue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reports generated from ScalePad we find provide good engagement with our customers. The reports provide an understanding of the age of their equipment that has previously been difficult to show. It would be good to improve printer and network equipment identification. Adding ways to improve detecting/adding serial numbers for these network based assets (switches, routers, printers) and an ability to easily set their age if it cannot be determined from online lookup methods as the current method for correcting these devices has difficulties.
