Rev does not account for Australian English nuances as well as I would like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been testing Rev for transcribing audio files. It's very easy to use, works smoothly and fairly quickly for the most part, with pretty good accuracy. It also can provide time stamp if you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not seem provide line by line time stamp, or it's not easy to figure out if it does have the function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am working on cataloging historic audio recordings, some of which are filed under different titles. The transcription service is great for helping me to quickly compare text. The transcriber does a pretty good job on the challenging material I use it on, being old audio of variable quality and often containing the varied and unusual terms of academic discussion. It still has some trouble with unusual words, so I have to go over my transcripts, and fix a few things. Sometimes it writes down phrases that don't make sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rev is better than other transcribing services I've used. It does a good job parsing out the ums and ahs and duplicate words, is generally pretty accurate and saves me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rev is not great transcribing names or knowing the context of the what is being transcribed. I use it for sports-related transcription primarily. As one example, if someone says the time the ran in a 40-yard dash is 4.48 seconds, the transcription might say 4, 4, 8 for "I ran a 4.48" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rev is not only accurate on both the human and AI side, the customer service is always amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only update I’d like to see is being able to name the file at purchase. This way I don’t have to go back and rename under my files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Accuracy of transcripts, summaries, and ease of use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A couple of times I was told that I was out of minutes when I still had thousands of minutes left.
Placing things in alphabetical order doesn’t seem to work. It would be great if I could manually organization the order of transcripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Rev is incredibly user friendly. It makes reviewing, editing, formatting, and exporting transcripts easy. I especially enjoy the feature that provides an AI summary. This has been a game changer for me and makes the work I do far more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside of Rev is the inconsistent spacing between time stamps. The time stamps are always separated by speakers, but if one speaker talks for a long time, the way Rev separates the text into paragraphs can be awkwardly uneven. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
