"DXP, the perfect combo with Dynamics 365"

What do you like best about Optimizely One?

Using the Avensia StoreFront Connector, you can leverage powerful e-commerce integration aspects of Retail Server to complement a Dynamics 365 FSCM-powered omnichannel strategy. And Optimizely's DXP offering then excels and goes much further than Dynamics 365 e-Commerce in terms of CMS, personalization, A/B testing, and many other marketing and content aspects. What do you dislike about Optimizely One?

Coming from an old SAP Hybris implementation, some aspects of Optimizely DXP are strange to comprehend today. For instance, the language files are not editable/accessible through the CMS and must be exchanged manually as XML files. A similar story applies to e-mail templates. Also, the various configuration parameters used across the application are not editable/accessible through the CMS. Instead, they are in a .config file accessible to dev only, resulting in a lack of insight and transparency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Optimizely One solving and how is that benefiting you?

DXP, along with the Avensia StoreFront Connector, certainly allows for an e-commerce front-end that is nicely integrated with the Dynamics 365 back-office, and consequently, with the rest of the Power Platform stack. This not only enables offering functional customer interactions and self-service provisions, but it also saves a lot of custom development time and the consequent bugs, dependencies and vulnerabilities, etc. Episerver Forms is another valuable tool in combination with Power Automate to increase self-sufficiency on e-commerce business processes. What I dislike is that it is still hard to find pages, blocks, or assets using the edit mode search. Also, switching block or media tab in the assets panel, the CMS still unselects the current folder and the content editors has to go through all the folders again to find what she/he wanted. "Insanely Powerful"

What do you like best about Optimizely One?

When I first encountered Optimizely's Digital Experience Platform, I was blown away. I've used similar products in the past, but they were all inferior to this. The Optimizely Digital Experience platform lets us provide a personalized funnel for each of our customers. It also facilitates efficient collaboration across multiple teams (including designers, developers, and product managers). In the past, we've had to build our own infrastructure to accomplish this, which has taken months. Now, we can achieve the same thing much faster. I cannot emphasize enough the power of this platform. By personalizing the UI for each customer, we increase our conversion rate, NPS score, and overall UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Optimizely One?

There are so many features to this platform that it can be difficult to train new team members -- at least initially. Ultimately, we want to utilize this platform to the fullest extent. What problems is Optimizely One solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main problem that Optimizely Digital Experience Platform solves for us is personalization. It is, by far, the most powerful personalization platform that I've seen. The SLA for an SaaS solution is dependent on the underlying cloud platform. The other aspect of Optimizely to keep in mind is the protection against risks of malicious piosoning of served contents. I like optimizely's flexibility to measure along many metrics - the many ways to slice, dice, and visualize the data are helpful. Being able to send slack notifications is also a plus Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
