What do you like best about Odoo ERP?

ODOO open source ERP comes with many modules, and you can customize it to your operations.

ERP allows to manage Bill of material, manufacturing processes and inventory management

Accounting modules let you manage all invoicing and bookkeeping, although it is dependent on local regulations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?

The open source version comes with a rudimentary configuration. Customizing the ERP tailored to your operation will require deep technical knowledge from your IT team.

This makes ODOO ERP highly dependent on working with a ODOO partner, increasing implementation and maintainance costs.

When trying to update ODOO's version you will run the risk of loosing, or adapting all your configurations into the newer version. This makes implementation processes too long and recurrent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It comes with numerous modules, providing the advantage of managing all your operations within one system.

What do you like best about Odoo ERP?

With Odoo, we managed to cover several problems that we had when it came to invoicing, organizing inventories, and having a modular ERP that fits my stores and everything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Odoo ERP?

Odoo has a separate module for each process, but the ERP provides an interlinking through which where every module communicates with each other which is the best part of this ERP.

Eg. Sales. Inventories, procurement & accounting are all independent processes that occur in a sequential way. Odoo gives a facility where the Sale Order placing screen gives the complete overview of all these activities by its smart button features which redirect to that specific operation happening in different modules. What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?

The Community version comes with a very limited set of options which does not fulfill the industry 4.0 standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Odoo ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?

With Odoo ERP we are able to give a complete summary of a customer Order through one single interface along with that the Chatter & Logger feature which the Interface provides helps the Customers to keep the entire team in the loop.

So with such interlinking of Modules Odoo makes it easier for a user to track a complete cycle which starts from HR where the Employee can claim their expenses if any for getting an order, place order in the system, manage delivery & based on sales plan purchases lastly everything automatically added to the Company Accounts General Ledger. Facilitates all the administrative tasks of the company eliminating repetitive and obsolete processes.

Many times better changes are generated in the system but they are not always taking into account the different alternatives that happen in different countries and suddenly it may be that an improvement has a period of failures while it is being considered.

It is an excellent system, any company can use it,

Putting the application connected from any mobile device anywhere in the world is one of the best things I have experienced, having a backup system that does not depend on me is also very good and that allows delegating tasks that are later paid very expensive. all the core functionality of odoo is very good already, if SME business not complex process no need to customize alot, can use it well.

running on the lite server not consume much ram and cpu as SAP B1, alot of developer understand about this because its python based. base on what i have experience before more than 3 years with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Odoo ERP?

odoo if you are using it and customize alot you will have problem with performance and also difficult to upgrade to another version

cost of development maybe higher than the subscription support to odoo users.
