The features work well and every time I have an issue or doubt the support team is there to guide me.
The facility of use is incredible. Everytime US customers come with a new way of connection, I check Files.com and they have already implemented that so I don't have to build something specific in my system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing bad about Files.com. The unique thing that could improve is the logs in AS2 but that's it. Again, nothing bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface to create a new SFTP folder and grant user permissions is very easy to use. You also get a number of choices to connect to the files repo, including an very well documented REST API, which make it very easy for partners to integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found any downsizes. We're saving a lot of costs associated with infrastructure and its O&M. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our use case is simple- Files.com replaced a slow, insecure in-house FTP server. But what we discovered in the transition was how foolish it was to ever self host. The files.com environment is exponentially more secure, flexible, easy to maintain, and elegant over all and our users rave about the improved interface and upload experience. We have discovered a world of utility and flexibility that we never thought to look for, let alone expect and now we're finding new powerful ways to integrate it into our data workflows.
Setup was seamless, and customer support has been beyond fantastic despite being a very low revenue customer for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a relatively small non-profit, expense is always a factor but we have no regrets and the value we receive from it is well worth the cost which is certainly not out of line. We aren't exactly pushing the limits of what files.com offers but that's the only thing I can come up with as a "dislike," even though I would not claim it is unfair. Files.com is a fabulous product. I have been using it for the last 6 1/2 years and am amazed at the growth and progress that has been developed and continues to develop. The breadth of functionality and versitality is exciting to use.
Creating integrations is soooo easy especially the AS2 connections. PGP encryption is so seamless to implement. Our company uses it for all our MFT connections. The support that Files.com provides is in a class of it's own. Wonderful company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of anything that I dislike about Files.com. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Files.com has been a game-changer for our company’s photo storage and file management. As a large furniture manufacturer handling a high volume of high-resolution images, it makes everything effortless. The platform is secure, easy to use, and reliable—even when transferring large files. Its automation tools, permission controls, and seamless integrations save us time and keep things organized across teams. Setting up Files.com was a breeze, requiring minimal effort to integrate into our workflow. Onboarding was quick, thanks to the platform's intuitive design. We use it daily to manage and share high-res images, and it’s become an essential part of our process. Files.com ensures we consistently meet our media storage and sharing needs without hassle. Unlike some "big tech" solutions, Files.com prioritizes usability and customer support—making a huge difference. If you're looking for a secure, scalable, and user-friendly cloud storage solution, I highly recommend Files.com. It's been vital in streamlining our media management! There’s not much to dislike, but I would love to see even faster bulk upload speeds for extremely large files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a non-IT user of Files.com, I have found it to be easy and reliable. We primarily use it for automated SFTP file transfers. I have been able to set up automations for pushing and pulling files, with a level of customization that has allowed us to circumvent issues presented by some of our trading partners. I have not needed assistance from customer support, as the functionality that I require was possible without it. One of our IT admins needed customer support regarding getting dedicated IP addresses for whitelisting purposes, and that was resolved within two days. I would strongly recommend Files.com for anyone needing a service for handling their FTP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I wouldn't necessarily consider it a strike against Files.com, the greatest barrier I experience is my own ignorance. There are options available that I simply don't understand, or perhaps they aren't applicable to my situation. Within the uses that I do understand, the functionality has been straightforward. It would be extremely difficult to provide this level of functionality with modern, enterprise level, security features. I think Files.com does an excellent job walking the line between accessibility and a high level of functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is for client's to get files over to me. The link in my email is super convienent and it was all really simple and easy to set up. I use it several times per week to receieve files from clients and the feed back that I get from them is great. It is way better than trying to get them to reply to a secure email so that what they were sending was encrypted and safe for them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that I can't list that I have nothing that I don't like in this review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Have been using Files.com for last 5 years. It's easy to customize. Also the APIs are easy to use and well documented. So far never had any issue with reliability and availability. Our company uses files.com everyday. Customers upload files through either ftp or rest api. That makes it easy to integrate with almost ant system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much. It would be great if there was an option to download more than 100 files at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What a great platform. Exceeds our expactations.
We moved from a self-managed on-prem SFTP to files.com a few years ago and it had literally exceeeded our expectations in every manner. This includes: functionality, support, security, and pricing.
We currently use IP whiteliest to help with our security and this is done is a very smart manner.
We changed our comany name and a File.com expert was there to guide us to use a temporary alias, migrate all connections, then update the site name to seamlessly make this change with zero downtime.
I can't think of a feature this product does not have and would 100% recommend files.com to anyone and everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
