It glitches occasionally, where jobs will come unlinked from their projects. It's a very large program so it's very hard to run on a phone consistently. Customer service isn't usually very helpful. After many months of testing and being a little hesitant, today is our first going live using the program and I-pads in the field. As of right now I am very impressed and wondering why we did not do this sooner. We had a few hiccups at start but the customer service people were right on it and helped us out. My first week wasn't very good. I had issues with my customer service. I was ready to give up! However, after emailing and chatting with some folks in management, I was given a new customer service rep. Holly Shelton became my rep. And she has been amazing! She got my onboarding set up and answered all my questions promptly. She saved FieldPulse for me. I am now using the program, and it's good for businesses of any size. We are a small IT and audiovisual services business who needed a combination of a field service manager with some light CRM integrations. Our clients love how polished our inoices and estimates look, and the automated messaging functionality has been configured to send our Google review link. This small change in our workflow has landed us 27% more reviews on Google than previous months without FP implementation. The customer support team is mainly reachable through the text 'chat' functionality on the website rather than a phone number or email address. I am a small business with most of the new clients reaching out to my phone, rather than going to a generic number with a scheduler/secretary. I wish there was a way to import my phone contacts into FieldPulse within the mobile app. I have exported and importated my contacts from phone already, I just wish there was an easy way to 'copy over' contacts from the iOS app into the FP app without doing duplicate data entry.
Creating a job on the fly in the field can take longer than some clients want to sit around and wait for. This is an organizational issue within our company as I (the owner) sometimes forget to add jobs to FP and have to start from square one while client is waiting to checkout. Our team uses Field Pulse for our every day scheduling, tracking, estimates, and invoices. Great support when we have questions. Everything can be edited. The pricebook that comes with Field Pulse is very generic. Editing items in the pricebook after we create them is time-consuming. Timeheets is not very detailed. We still have to use our other time-tracking software to back up timesheets. My techs can't show their breaks, or a breakdown of time on the job. I have to manually put theor time in for payroll, it doesn't sunc to qb. Some of our invoices/estimates don't sync to QBO, I have to reach out to support and that's time-consuming. FieldPulse was easy to get started, and the team was very supportive during the process. We've been able to utilize FieldPulse to complete all our estimates, invoices, and the integration with Quickbooks is a huge bonus.
