Getting started with BrowserStack was fairly easy and I found the UX fairly easy to figure out as well. There are many browsers/OS to choose from which is great when testing your website. In the past I had to find someone with a MacBook to help me test new website components and test for issues that way. This tool lets me test using my PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software can be slow, especially if I am running a test and trying to inspecte the code and change the HTML/CSS while testing.
I have not yet figured out how to use the software with my local environment (Umbraco) and have gone through the documentation with no success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Initially, BrowserStack was effectively the standard for web and mobile testing. They give true tools with low latency and many features, such as biometrics and sim card functions. Chat customer support was not commendable, and responded with unrelated information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
However, my own BrowserStack experience was turning bad. At first I professed against liking nothing, and soon found it didnt deliver the excellence promised. But it is a pale comparison with those of the competition in fact, even its very first advertised bells. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The comprehensive library of 2000+ real desktop and mobile browsers and devices, live testing and debugging capabilities, easy integration with test automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium, local testing options, performance metrics, and detailed reporting make BrowserStack an indispensable cross-browser and cross-device testing tool for me as a developer. I love how BrowserStack allows me to interactively test and debug on real browsers and devices, giving me visual logs and screenshots to quickly identify issues. The automated testing scalability across browsers and mobile devices saves enormous amounts of regression testing time. BrowserStack provides me invaluable time savings, helps ensure comprehensive cross-browser compatibility, and gives me performance insights to optimize my web apps - it's a must-have tool that makes testing much easier and more efficient. While BrowserStack is invaluable for cross-browser testing, there are some limitations like pricing plans being potentially expensive for smaller teams, some gaps in niche browser coverage, restrictive concurrent session limits on lower tiers, only higher tier plans getting full featured access, imperfect mobile device lab coverage requiring occasional real devices, troubleshooting difficulties due to remote access, UI/UX design having a learning curve, and customer support response times varying - dealing with these limitations and tradeoffs can be frustrating at times. However, despite these occasional frustrations, BrowserStack's comprehensive capabilities still make it a must-have tool for most developers by enabling quick and easy testing across browsers and devices, saving huge amounts of time and effort.
