What do you like best about Better Stack?

What I like best about Better Stack is how easy it is to use. The intuitive backend requires no complicated configuration, making it truly a "fire and forget" solution. It offers great value for startups with pricing that scales as your company grows. The status page is not only functional but also visually appealing. I also appreciate how it has evolved from being just a monitoring tool to now also supporting log management, which adds even more value. What do you dislike about Better Stack?

The one thing I dislike about Better Stack is that the free tier pauses all active monitors if you don't log in to the backend for a certain period (30 days as far as I remember). While it does provide warnings a few days beforehand, it can be inconvenient if you miss those notifications or are away for an extended period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Better Stack?

I like how you can modify the UI a lot, and how easy it is to use. Also, I think it's a really good service, especially considering it's free. It offers numerous free options that other services don't, and their UI is remarkably sleek. Additionally, the ability to set up your own CNAME adds to the overall versatility and customization options, making the experience even more organic and tailored to individual needs. What do you dislike about Better Stack?

To be honest, what I dislike is the requirement to provide a phone number for signup. I feel like email should suffice, and a phone number should only be necessary if you choose to use it. It would be better if I could simply provide a valid email without needing to include a phone number. That's my only complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface is easy to understand with robust features such as creating custom alerts, heartbeats and integrates with many popular tools. Although there are many uptime monitor apps to choose from, Better Stack is the top tier app, whether you need reliable metrics or more in depth alerts and monitoring capabilities. The free plan of Better Stack is a great value and includes a lot of features that their competitors only includes in their paid plans. The platform is really easy to use and the integrations are great. I love the fact that you can connect your custom domain even on the free tier. Great to track my self-hosted apps. What do you like best about Better Stack?

It is really easy to set up Better Stack Logs within my JavaScript/TypeScript/Java projects using React/Next.js and React/Spring Boot either for the frontend and backend. The documentation really helps even for junior developers and trainees.

What do you dislike about Better Stack?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to reset a source token. When a token is leaked, I have to delete the source (and all logs) and create a new source.

A few weeks ago, the platform's frontend was very slow to respond for a few hours and I contacted support. The next day, everything was working as expected again and support made sure I didn't have any more problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
