New Relic can be overwhelming for beginners due to its complex setup and steep learning curve. Some users find the pricing model confusing and expensive at scale, and occasional delays in data reporting or UI responsiveness can affect the monitoring experience. 1. Strong integrations with multiple types of servers and programming languages. As an e-commerce developer, I used to integrate with my Magento websites and AWS server. Whenever the CPU utilization reaches its threshold limit, it will notify us, and I can monitor the system and ensure there is no downtime for the website.
2. Free tier pricing. The Basic needs will be covered in the free tier. Which is very helpful
3. User-friendly and easy to integrate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing - For the base level it will cover with free tier, but the free tier has limitations, if we go with pricing models, then Relic offers pay-per-usage, Sometimes the amount will be too high for a high-traffic application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about New Relic is having everything in one place. With real-time logs, APM, and infrastructure monitoring, I get a complete view without switching tools. The UI is clean, dashboards are customizable, and setting up alerts is super easy — it catches issues before they escalate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some integrations are harder to set up than they should be. While New Relic supports a wide range of tools, the documentation can feel outdated or assumes too much prior knowledge. I’ve had to do more troubleshooting than expected just to get basic metrics working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Delivering real time performance insights across the entire stack is where new relic shines. The APM features are excellent . thanks to thorough transaction traces , error analytics and throughput matrices . The fact that APM, infrastructure monitoring ,logs and dashboards are all in one location is another feature I adore . debugging and root cause analysis are greatly accelerated by it , Because of the alerting systems strength and adaptability , proactive monitoring is simple. the sheer volume of features on the platform can initially be daunting . Until you get used to it, the user interface seems a little crowded to new users . Additionally , some sophisticated features are only available at higher price points , which might not be suitable for startups for smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I always have instant access to real-time information regarding the performance of my systems... often allowing me to address issues PRIOR TO the customer being impacted. I rely on New Relic every single day to ensure that our systems are functioning optimally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If there is any performance degradation by using New Relic, it has been imperceptible to us or our customers. The initial configuration and customization does require some time & effort... but, certain for us, worth the effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Application performance monitoring is one of the most effective, which helps us track application transactions in real time.

The pricing can be a bit complicated and expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The dashboard which is completely customizable, is very useful when monitoring. Everything in our priorities can be sorted as in our mind.
2. New relic supports flutter, and monitoring our mobile apps is easy. Best thing: Integrating the flutter agent and get results on our dashboard is very simple.
3. The platform provides quite good customer support, we will get the tickets sorted within a few hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Too costly. Compared with other platforms which provide almost similar features, New Relic price is very high.
2. The SDK for the android platform is not fully optimized. If we implement new relic SDK in our app, the progaurd needs to be disabled, which is not good for the code obfuscation of our app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
NewRelic was super easy to implement and very easy to use and navigate. Before NR we had log files all over the place on different windows VMs, was horrible to manage. But now we have them in one central place that we can query, review and monitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at all it's great.. I struggled a little bit setting up monitors and dashboards, but only due to not giving it enough attention and focus - once I say down and actually made myself do it, it was very easy and made sense Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

a grate feature was the ease of use. I used in my Node Application, it was very easy to integrate and implement in the overall application. All it took was installing the npm package and a few lines of code to add in my code base.
Another feature I loved was the user experience, it was very smooth. Every feature was easily available, while the customer support is amazing, user rarely needs it because they can explore easily on their own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The free tier allows very limited user to access. Makes it a bit difficult to collaborate. Also a minor flaw was logs, I tried to monitor logs but the logs were not as detailed and robust as I expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
