Hotjar has many different features within one suite which is great. There's nothing worse than trying to triangulate data from ten different tracking sources. Integration is really easy and funnels are easy to set up. This is a great tool for anyone new...
I’m not really sure we need hotjar on top of google analytics. The visual lines are great but it’s a lot to sort through. Google Analytics is a much more full tool to use that offers more functionality. I’d preferred to not have to use more than one too.
- incredible user analysis - does a great job of creating tables and graphs - helps us analyze if our features are working how we want them to - very helpful with debugging - once you are familiarized with the platform, easy to use and understand
Could have used a better introduction to the service. Making it easier to get right into debugging. Dont know much about other features except looking at specific user sessions
