Clari Support is probably one of the best support teams I've worked with on any platform. They're responsive, they're helpful and usually have a fix out quickly.

What do you dislike about Clari?

There's no sandbox environment for when an admin is making changes. Recently we changed Opportunity Types and had to update our queries. Since there's no sandbox to make sure those queries are running correctly, there was a lot of anxiety around making those changes. Especially because there are people working out of Clari while we're making live changes.

There also seemed to be holes with our integration, especially when it came to Groove and activities in general.

I also wish it was easier for Clari Admins to create signals without having to rely so heavily on Support. While I love the Support team, I wish this was something Admins had more control over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The free CRM is a great gateway drug, but once you get into Sales Hub Pro or Enterprise territory, it can start to feel like you’re paying by the click. Add-ons, extra seats, and advanced features = dollar signs.

2. Feature Lock-In at Higher Tiers

Want full reporting, playbooks, or advanced automation? Better be ready to upgrade. Some pretty basic features are paywalled behind the Pro or Enterprise tiers, which can feel a bit like being charged extra for seatbelts in a car.

What do you like best about Close?

What I like most about Close is how the onboarding for my immediate team was. At the moment I have everyone who I communicate with daily signed up with their own subaccounts and we're able to manage each stage of our pipeline per job without any problems. Close support helped us assign roles based on team member responsibilities and from there I can view how everyone is doing on their daily assigned tasks through the custom dashboard we put together. With our subcontractors I can easily add them as contents to and send and receive messages from my personal number and email which saves a lot of time changing between apps and services. While Pipedrive is exceptional at what it's designed for—managing the sales pipeline—my primary frustration stems from its limitations as an all-in-one CRM solution. I truly wish I could use it as the single source of truth for our entire customer lifecycle, but it falls short once a deal is won. The lack of an integrated customer support or helpdesk feature is a major hurdle. After closing a deal, we're forced to switch to a separate ticketing system to manage client inquiries and support issues. This creates a disconnect, making it difficult to have a unified view of a customer's history and interactions without constantly toggling between platforms or relying on integrations that don't always feel seamless. Furthermore, its marketing capabilities, while improving, are still too basic for our needs, lacking the sophisticated automation and in-depth analytics required for complex nurture campaigns. This means we're juggling a third platform for marketing, a second for support, and Pipedrive for sales. It's an excellent sales tool, but my hope for a single, elegant solution to manage everything from lead generation to long-term customer support within Pipedrive remains unfulfilled. Have been using Capsule every day for the best part of 12 years now.

It's very user-friendly and easy to set up get to grips with. The opportunity and projects features are fantastic for keeping on top of tasks, and the new pipeline reporting features that are regularly being added are also solid additions to the tool.

The filtering options are great and allow for custom lists of contacts/opportunities/projects with all sorts of criteria which can be really useful for multifaceted businesses like ours.

Also plenty of third-party integrations that are available - it's on my to-do list to check out the other options that could improve workflow.

What do you dislike about Capsule CRM?

It would be nice to be able to choose different plans for different users within an account - not all users need the advanced reporting and perhaps only have access in order to see customer details, so it can really add to the subscription costs in these instances. Storage issues: we cannot delete chat notes files in bulk, which is a significant problem.

WhatsApp conversations are not displayed in an inbox-style view, making them hard to manage.

The dialer app has performance issues.
