What do you like best about Gusto?

I have used Gusto at two workplaces. When I moved to the second workplace, they used spreadsheets to track time before. This was tedious, messy, and resulted in human error monthly. I was thrilled when they chose to implement Gusto and it has made daily time tracking so much easier! The time tracking feature is easily accessible on the home screen or on my phone via the app, so even if I am working offsite, I can still clock in and out easily wherever I am!

Truly the only improvement I can think of for Gusto is to allow for expense submissions in the app. Currently, I take pictures of receipts on my phone and then have to email them to myself to upload them to Gusto on my laptop. We've been using Greenhouse for a little over a year and a half now, and it's been a game-changer for our recruiting efforts. As an EHS consulting company, we need to move quickly when it comes to hiring skilled professionals, and Greenhouse helps us stay organized and consistent across all roles and departments, ensuring we are following the process and are in compliance.

What we like most is how customizable the workflows are. We’ve tailored different hiring stages for EHS Advisors, Environmental Specialists, and corporate roles, which helps our hiring managers stay on track and ensures a smooth experience for candidates. The scorecards and interview kits have been especially helpful in getting our technical teams aligned on what “good” looks like.

It also integrates well with the tools we already use, like DocuSign, Microsoft and LinkedIn, which saves us a lot of time on the backend. And the reporting features give us clear visibility into where candidates are getting stuck or dropping off, which has helped us tighten up our process.

Sometimes, if you wait till Monday morning to fill out your timesheets, the system will have auto-switched the boxes over to that current week. So, you have to remember to go back one week in the calendar first, otherwise you will mistakenly put in time for the current week that hasn't happened yet. Then you supervisor has to go fix it. What I like most about Hubstaff is how easy it makes time tracking and task management for distributed teams. It allows me to monitor productivity without being invasive, generate accurate reports for clients, and maintain full transparency on the work being done. Sometimes the timer doesn't start properly when there's a connection issue or when switching networks, which can affect the accuracy of logged hours.
