The user interface is a little dated and less streamlined than I would like. It can often take what feels like too many clicks to run a report or review a project plan. It would be great if all reports were convertible to a CSV file or Excel file. The JSR, especially. Making custom report building a little easier and intuitive would also be great. Its making the information flow from different data sources much easier to reconcile. For instance, taking the information entered into time sheets almost instantly into everything from project-specific invoices, revenue forecasts, and profitability reports is extremely helpful and time saving. We have different rates on different projects so for us to project our revenue accurately was incredible time consuming and frankly hard to do. Prior to having unanet, it felt like we were often guessing at how we will perform each year. This has made a world of difference in understanding our finances and how we will perform year over year. What I dislike about Intuit ProConnect Tax is the Customer Service. My luck in getting knowledgeable agents to assist when I initially started using the software was so bad that I stopped reaching out for help and it prolonged the software implementation process. Netsuite is mainly helping us in Accounting. It helps us in monitoring Inventory accurately and recording accounts payable via PO. This is very helpful and make our work easy. With the help of this we can easily monitor inventory, In this way it is helping us. While I appreciate Lacerte’s capabilities, there are definitely some drawbacks. The biggest frustration for me is the frequent updates during busy season—they sometimes cause unexpected glitches or slowdowns. Streamlining input of complex individual and business returns. Handles multistate okay (adding states defaulting all entries to that state rather than the residence state does require a lot of review and backtracking to correct these issues). I originally purchased a perpetual license many years ago. Unfortunately, those are no longer offered. My annual maintenance price has not changed each year which was a pleasant surprise. This year I was forced to upgrade to the latest version or I would get penalized 25% each month. It was in the middle of our busy season and nobody wanted to go through a major upgrade that could cause issues. I can understand support not wanting to help if we are on an old version but to force us to upgrade or fine us harshly is just down right abuse from a vendor. If that practice doesn't stop then I can see people leaving.

Don't try hosting this software on a virtual server. It will not perform well. Make sure you get a dedicated server. Also don't use the MySQL database. The only one that works is the MSSQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rillet has been instrumental in helping us automate our workflows, unify our billing (Stripe), payroll (Rippling), and reporting systems and get investor-ready from day one. Our company facilitates peer-to-peer lending and we are perhaps the largest in the country. So naturally we handle a large number of transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This leads to a lot of data being generated. To manage and reconcile this data, we are using Kosh. When it comes to 1099 filing, we have been able to easily integrate their API with our core backend systems. This allows us to automatically file documents, handle corrections and voids with little to no manual work. While Zoho Books is overall a fantastic platform, there are a few areas that could be improved. 1. QuickBooks Online often requires changing the account type and detail type for all Line of Credit accounts. Using the 'Line of Credit' detail type typically causes an error, so I must select 'Credit Card' or 'Other Liabilities/Loan Payable' instead.

2. Subscription fees have been increasing more frequently, making it costlier over time.

3. Report customization is limited, some reports that are available in the desktop version can't be generated in QuickBooks Online for clients.

1. I used to convert PDF statements to Excel in order to upload transactions manually. Now, with the bank connection feature and date range selection, transactions are automatically downloaded for me.

- Only thing I can think of is that you need to create crypto gain/loss accounts in QBO because, as a result of QBO, they cant value transactions in USDC.
