Streamlines the reference check process and saves a lot of time that would normally be used for follow up. It helps us have faster recruitment turnaround times. Responsive support and team that provides solutions and suggestions for how we can further improve our reference check process. Reminder emails to candidates and their referees can sometimes be a bit too much - it helps with faster turnaround times though. When used for bulk recruitment, some referees may receive multiple requests and the number and frequency of emails and reminders they receive to complete them can be excessive. The automation is the best part for us. It allows our recruiters to focus on finding the best talent rather than back and forth chasing up missed calls. It's also great for allowing the referee to complete in their own time which often is out of hours for our retail workforce. It's particularly useful for our bulk recruitment where references are necessary however the volume can take our recruiters away from more valuable tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Probably the only downside is removing that opportunity to network with the referees and build new relationships there. In those cases where we feel the referee is someone we'd like to chat to further this is easily manager by simply completing the check over the phone in that instance. It's a real time-saving when you are hiring at such a high volume. It's also great the tracking it does on any suspicous behaviour that may be associated with the reference check and the email notifications are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the integration with Checkr is difficult to manage - the 2 systems don't always speak to each other the way I would like. For example, when you want to stop a check it doesn't remove it from the Xref platform although you have cancelled it from Checkr. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
