Template Builder allows you to create your own tailored reference templates from a database of compliant, high-performing questions, and then add them to your Xref account. In regards to your point about asking further questions, a lot of our clients like to include a question that asks if the referee is happy to be contacted at a time that’s convenient for them if any further detail is required. This offers referees a chance to opt in to being contacted at a time that works for them and can make for a great opportunity to reach out where necessary and appropriate.

We're also delighted that we have been able to give you your evenings back by allowing referees to respond at a time that suits them, with you needing to follow up.

We do have measures in place (such as two-factor authentication), to ensure we can guarantee the security of employers', candidates' and referees' data. These are incorporated into the platform and shouldn't be too pressing for a referee to complete but we appreciate you letting us know about this feedback.
