What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

SendGrid allows for SMTP relay of email from any location. After migrating to Microsoft 365, some legacy applications were unable to send email via Microsoft 365. SendGrid allows this at a very low price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

I have very few complaints about SendGrid, but if I had to pick something, it would be that the service doesn't easily allow for multiple users in the same organization. This is a minor issue that doesn't negatively affect my opinion of the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

The best feature would be the high delivery rate compared to similar services. The implementation is also easy as well using the documentation provided for most popular languages along with the REST API. The training using Twilio's RPG game TwilioQuest also makes it easy to get started. The designer feature makes it easy to design templates without using a third-party solution. What do you dislike about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

Integrating new senders is not that intuitive on the UI and makes it confusing. Verifying new senders is also not a seamless process as it does not notify if the verification email went through. We used Twilio SendGrid Email API to send mass emails for our internal and business objectives. We have used Sendgrid using it's API and with other services like Courier, and our implementation has been easy with both the approaches. What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

It is easy to configure sending emails using SendGrid API. Usually, website hostings don't provide an Email Delivery Service, so all the emails are sent from hosting servers which typically end up in the Spam folder or get blocked by vendors like Gmail, Yahoo, AOL etc.

SendGrid helps ensure that those emails don't end up in the Spam folder. And, not to mention, it is way easy to integrate the API (with WordPress).

And, it has a free plan for starting... so, if you are just starting your website, you probably won't even need to purchase any paid plans to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

My product team has had a great experience with the Twilio and SendGrid API's. Their support does a great job and always has treated us well. My only regret is not buying stock back when we started using these two companies. We recently went to a multi-year contract with Twilio and got even better pricing then before. For our booking company Afton Shows and for our ticketing company, Afton Tickets, Twilio and SendGrid have been crucial to operations and we are thankful to have found them many years ago! What do you like best about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

The API is easy to integrate with just about any service out there. The documentation is solid and covers multiple use-cases/languages, and the webhooks are reliable and easy to understand. What do you dislike about Twilio SendGrid Email API?

The email design tool is not at polished as competing solutions aimed purely at marketing-based emails (Mailchimp, for example). There are a decent amount of bugs, and it's relatively frustrating to use. Still, we primarily use SendGrid for the API, not the email-design tools, so this is not a dealbreaker for us, and the prices are much more modest than competing marketing solutions.
