We love the contract ingestion tool at Tabs. We work with customers across a few different industries, all with unique contract structures and terms. Tabs's AI contract ingestion is agnostic to the structure of those documents and allows us to automate billing for each and every customer we serve. This has freed up a lot of time on our small finance team to focus on more value add activities like strategic decision support. Tabs solves a meaningful problem for quickly growing startups. When you're operating at an extremely fast pace, and you don't have the resources to follow-up with customers, send out invoices on your own, or chase down accountants, Tabs is a great option for now... and later! The reality is that these are tasks you don't want your Accounting or AR departments working on either, so the automation of today becomes a long-standing and viable strategy for anyone managing the platform. I was a user of the product within the first year of its creation, and sometimes this could be painfully obvious. To the tune of needing to contact support to add users or update their privileges, but this was quickly resolved within a month or two. While there may be growing pains involved, the team is incredibly respectful of customer and user advice / feedback, and they are doing their best to understand the use cases of their clients. Tabs has completely transformed our contract-to-cash process—something we never thought possible before. It automates everything: invoicing, A/R tracking, revenue recognition, and GL entries, saving us countless hours and eliminating manual work. I can’t imagine running our business without it.

Tabs is a user friendly platform that effectively helps our team manage customer billing. I appreciate that we are notified via Slack as payment from customers are received, as we are in-the-know real time. What I like most, though, is the support that we receive from the Tabs team. I've had the pleasure of attending a couple of meetings with Tabs, and their team members ask thoughtful questions to understand our user experience and demonstrate an eagerness to continue growing to best support our company's needs. At this time, customers who pay via ACH don't automatically log within our Tabs account. We have learned that ACH auto-tracking is possible with other systems in place; however, as our team does not use those other systems, we have to manually manage those payments as they're received. However, with some features the Tabs team has shared are on their roadmap, I feel confident that this challenge is short-term and will be improved in the future! Tabs has a very logical user interface, and their implementation was very smooth with a lot of attention to detail (which is essential). The integration with Quickbooks went well and saved us from the pain of managing invoices there, it is so much easier in Tabs. I recognize that Tabs is constantly developing their product, and I have found it has been at a nice pace. I really look forward to what else they can do with regard to revenue recognition, as I see that being a pain point as we grow our customer base, and must be a pain point for many other companies. I enjoy how simple the product is to use. We sent it over to an email address and it automatically appears where it needs to be within the product. It allows us to be organized and find items quickly. I am often on the phone with customers and able to pull and reference documents at the same time. Tabs supports our cash flow review needs, our AR processes and ensuring we are up to date with our contracts and renewals. They simplify billing with numerous clients. Their platform is easy to use and allows for manual modification where needed but is streamlined with their use of AI. Their onboarding and continued customer support has made our lives so easy.
