It centralizes knowledge and and removes individuals as single points of failure for problem solving on uncommon processes and flows. We've been moving to a new VPN software and all of the pitfalls got documted in stack overflow very quickly during the limited trial period and were very useful during the staged rollout.
Search functionality for quick access to corporate knowledge is a must. Microsoft Teams, Email, Slack etc. all do this poorly. Instead of trying to remember the conversation or channel where an issue got discussed and digging through oodles of other useless but somehow semi related information to find the one answere you're looking for, Stack Overflow makes it 10X quicker and easier. So many problem solving conversations i've had ended with, lets make sure this gets asked and answered on SO in case someone else runs into it.
This solves the situation I run into all the time where I encounter a company specific problem and think "I wish I could just google the answer". I can now just search Stack Overflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Points for a profile. I know that it's used as an effective gatekeeping method for the public facing site, but with the amount of content and internal moderators within the company I think it would be more useful for employees to have full access out of the gate and give company moderator the ability to limit individual profiles if they are being problematic. Programmers prefer StackOverflow rather than Google to get technical help.

There might be multiple solutions available for some questions, so this feature helps to identify the best solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think there is anything that couldn't attract developers.
But I found one thing that irritates the most is that image uploading for new joiners. It can't let new joiners to upload the image with the questions they are asking. And I think this is the most needed feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The knowledge that is shared across all the team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly I don't know which feature can add more value to stackoverflow for teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the fact that most people should know the format of Stack Overflow posts. The Q and A approach to knowledge sharing is very intuitive as opposed to regular documentation tools like Confluence where things become too long to read. Upvoting succinct answers and gamifying the process puts Stack Overflow at the top of my list for knowledge sharing tools. With Stack Overflow for Teams, it just becomes even more focussed. Love it! Mmmm... I guess my only issue is that the user interface is less intuitive than I expected. Take how long I had to search for the log out button, for instance, or the fact that I didn't know that my SO for Teams account was linked to my personal Stack Overflow account - so I kept trying to sign in to my company account with my companry email address. the tags. and all sorts of questions, participating in the StackOverflow community is the ability to find answers to your coding-related questions. and not only that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it is so hard sometimes to publish a question you need to respect a lot of criteria there is even some text and a bot to help and to put the cherry on top of the Sunday they review it lol. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stack Overflow for teams is giving us two solutions, firstly for us to build our knowledge base, in a single central point, and secondly a method of getting help from other teams, such as our developers.
Previously we've lost useful information in mailboxes and chats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is very little to dislike. I do think we'd benefit from some reporting - who's the most active poster/viewer? We'd like to use some gamification to encourage people to post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful part of Stack Overflow for Teams is that it is well aligned to the public Stack Overflow where every software engineer has experience with.
This reduces the learning curve and ensures a familiar environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I would like to be implemented better would be to integrate it a bit better with the public Stack Overflow. There are many times where I end up using a more generic solution from the public site while there exists one that would be more helpful in the private one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love how easy it is to use and create Q&As for our team members. The integration with Teams is a significant bonus, making accessing it easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At first, it is not intuitive as an admin how to set everything up, but with a little trial and error, it works well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface could be more visually appealing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about SO Teams is that we can have a place for a team for QA's that are private to the company. This is SO with 100% relevance for our team and very handy as documentation to figure out how this works. It's a very natural format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing in particular that I dislike about Stack Overflow teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
