Ramp has revolutionized our business processes and dramatically increased employee adherence to company expense policies. Weʻve seen a reduction of monthly time spent on expense management from 40 hours per month to around 8 hours per month. The approval process for our credit limit was very easy. The notifications and communication features from RAMP keep everyone on the same page and allow for real-time communication to address spending issues across the organization. This platform is amazing and best thing is after we get 1% back, we are actually spending less than before we had RAMP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I donʻt have anything I dislike about ramp yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I absolutely love the features that Ramp offers. It's so quick and easy to use the app & web version, and it's very streamlined & easy to understand. Most of all I love that it makes it so easy to upload receipts, which helps us have more effective and efficient accounting and finance processes. And I very much appreciate the "virtual card" options as that makes me even more efficient. The 'reminders' are also amazing because sometimes I need to buy things and then move on quickly, but having Ramp remind me that a receipt needs to be submitted helps keep me on track. Because of this, I've never had our finance dept have to follow up with me and ask for receipts, which is a win-win-win for all of us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I suppose I don't understand why receipts are not requested/required for all purchases, but maybe that's due to our own custom company setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ramp has been a game changer for our company. It helps keep the processes streamlined, keeps users on track and it's easy to use, so we dont have to chase people to enter their receipts, they can do it from their phones! I love the level of control it gives us. Also, love the fact that we can just email the receipts . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing! so far we are loving it and recommending it to all of our partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am glad to do my expenses on my phone. It's easy to upload receipts and code them. It even keeps track of receipts that I have uploaded earlier than the vendor has charged me. It's great that Ramp keeps the receipts in its records and matches them later. It eliminates the risk of losing receipts. The system is easy to use and to maintain an eye on the expenses of others in my division. I look at it daily to keep track of how money is being spent. I have found it easy to adapt to and virtually everyone who works with me has found it easy to adopt. It's so much easier to use than the older systems that we had to use. Sometimes it's difficult to find things when you need them, things like adding additional participants to events. I find it hard to explain to employees where to find things unless I am showing them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Imagine AR, AP and expense management all in one platform. That's Ramp! Ramp streamlines 3 major finance proceses all in one platform and has robust approval workflows, spend programs that can be used for most projects, events for better funds management and a reconciliation process that is a breeze. Working with a dedicated account manager helps in addressing most issues that arise. Ramp also integrates with Quickbooks online and the flow of information is well organized. Ramp has room to grow in the approval workflow and automation especially with reimbursements. There's no way for employees or guests to request reimbursements via checks and automated setups don't really work for reimbursements through spend programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best parts about Ramp:
1. It is free - at least for now. There are some features that can be paid for but we are satisfied with the free offering.
2. It is simple to use and teach new users. It is also easy to setup expense rules and integration with Sage Intacct almost never has issues.
3. The ability to create new virtual credit cards almost instantly for new spending projects is extremely convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have many negative things to say about Ramp. If I am being nitpicky, they have made a few cosmetic changes to the interface in the last year or so that I do not like, but the functionality has not changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ramp makes it easy to record and manage expenses while I'm on the go via SMS. I love how Ramp texts me after I use my card, prompting me to upload a receipt and then providing a reason for the transaction. I love how they suggest transaction reasons and allow me to provide my own. What might normally take minutes per transaction after the fact (ie: taking photos of my receipts, recording the date, time, and purpose, manually uploading the receipts via web, etc) now takes seconds. I'd love the ability to verify or edit transaction amounts via SMS. A challenge I've run into while traveling for work is that at certain restaurants, my Ramp card is charged before I add the tip. This means that when I receive an SMS message for the transaction, it does not include the full amount after tip. I wish I could edit the transaction to include the tip since the receipt actually matches the amount plus tip (not the lower amount) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ramp has allowed us to build coding rules in several different possible combinations to eliminate the need to code each individual transactions. It also suggests rules for you as it learns over time which is super cool. We have gained significant visibility into our spend which we then load into Power BI and layer it into our overall reporting dataset. Ramp has a lot of solid features for collaboration on specific transactions and great spend control capabilities. They also seem to iterate quickly on product build and take feedback very seriously. There are not a lot of downsides to Ramp that we have seen so far, and gaps are typically addressed quickly. Sometimes the integrations for Outlook and such feel hit or miss, but it is getting better. The homepage can be sometimes hard to navigate and I wish there was a better log of all interactions in the tool so you had a one stop shop to avoid forgetting things from a few days ago. Ramp has turned what was once a painful process of reconciling our monthly corporate credit card statement into a breeze. The visibility into spending, the approval workflows, and overall matching technology have made it easier for both our end users and back-end accounting teams. Best of all is the customer support and client experience. We have been lucky to have two great Account Managers who respond timely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features that are still being developed, such as having the ability to login as another employee to help troubleshoot issues, and being able to list multiple invoices on a single-use card. We've been told these enhancements are in pipeline for this year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The sync to QBO works really well. We love that the approval process doesn't hold up the ability to sync expenses. We also love the control over what gets synced, and when it gets synced. Also, overall, I'd say the customer support we've received from Ramp has been great. It has been less consistent as of late, but when we first started with Ramp (about a year and a half ago), it was consistent and awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Regarding Bill pay: One of the features of the sync to QBO involves a deletion of the payment record weeks or months later in the event that the check payment is never deposited by the vendor. This throws off our monthly accounting reconciliations to have a payment on the books and then later on have that payment record automatically deleted. Not sure what the solution is!
