"MAXIMO - so many opportunities"

What do you like best about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

MAXIMO is so configurable. You can make it do anything! If you can't figure it out on your own - there's a whole community of users willing to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

The data entry is cumbersome, having to type the same number over and over again to put it on multiple records. There should be a way to update fields in multiple records at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering IBM Maximo Application Suite:

MAXIMO is a workhorse. Proper setup begins with good processes and knowing what you want out of it. If you don't define the proper fields up front, you won't be able to get the data you want 3 years down the road. Use an experienced 3rd party consultant to set up your system. "Maximo: A Useful Tool Once You KNow How To Use It"

What do you like best about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

Maximo is customizable and adaptable to your business needs. I enjoy that there are many aspects that can be used from Maximo straight out of the box and that it can also be used with add-ins. There are different options for reporting which is great for analyzing various data points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

Sometimes there are too many "clicks" involved in getting scheduling done (although this could be a training issue more than it is an issue with the software). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is IBM Maximo Application Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our big project now is getting the Materials Management module set-up. We have never taken a formal inventory of our materials before, so we haven't been monitoring Total Cost of Ownership. I believe the module is really going to help us get on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
