While MaintainX offers a robust CMMS platform with many impressive features, we wish that some of these amazing functionalities were included as standard within the system rather than as add-on integrations. I love the intuitive nature making it very easy to use and manage, for requesters as well. The teachers at our school can simply use their cell phone camera to scan a QR code provided uniquely on the door frame of each room which initiates a request. I get a Notification when a request is submitted. I can then approve it or decline it. If I approve it, I can then assign it to an individual or a team and communicate progress back to the requester. The user interface is great as well as the mobile app. The system is straightforward and easy to use. There is plenty of customization for us as a facility to grow into it without major limitation. The work order flow is simple and concise. Creating and implementing procedures/PMs is so easy. Customer support has been top notch, with all my questions being answered quickly. I was able to switch over from our old CMMS without hassle, very easy to integrate. We use it every day and area looking to expand it beyond PMs and demand maintenance. The inability to give work order visibility to anyone but the person who externally created it. We have multiple people in production that need to know the status of a work order or would like to follow it. This can't happen unless they are the ones to create the work order. This system is very user-friendly and intuitive. Any issues that have come up, the response time is fantastic, and they immediately address our problem. Creating work orders and loading information into the system is as easy as it comes, and has saved us so many hours of data entry from systems we've used in the past. It's awesome how we have such a great level of engagement with our entire staff from the front of house to the production floor with this app. Everyone on site uses it, and it closes the gap on issues in our daily operations. It's difficult to find anything to dislike, but I would say one thing is that from time to time, if a full user creates a work order, it can get out of sight from the admin, especially if it wasn't assigned to a person. The other thing is it would be great to have a clear view of the week's or even months' schedule that shows all of the upcoming and overdue work orders, as well as email this view, basically a single tab that is a calendar view. After over a year of using MaintainX, it continues to exceed expectations. The platform is intuitive and has made a significant impact on how we manage our field operations. Honestly, I don’t have any complaints. In my original review, I noted a limitation around repeating work orders on specific weekdays of the month—for example, the first Friday of each month. Even that has seen progress, and the platform continues to evolve in the right direction. MaintainX listens to user feedback and consistently rolls out meaningful updates. Very User Friendly. Wide range of technicians who are/are not tech savy, with MaintainX this was not an issue. Great options to manage assets, part, work order and preventative tasks. Support and Sales Teams have been very supportive with setting up new organizations, importing data and have been very open to suggestions and making improvements. There is currently no easy way to enter costs to a work order for non-stock items. I have used other maintenance software and would like to see work orders with multiple procedures that could auto generate with the different levels of work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to see more in depth filters. When handling a large number of sites, there are better ways the site could be organized to accommodate that. MaintainX is a great platform to organize our maintenance support efforts. It provides an easy to manage interface for multiple levels of the organization. Work orders with categories and inventory assignments help provide visibility on costs, downtime, and reoccurring issues. For a large operation with hundreds of assets and required parts, MaintainX makes it fairly easy to manage multiple projects at once. There are a number of features behind a paywall. Premium plan does not allow for managing permissions for different levels of users. Full team has ability to add or remove inventory and assets.
