"I've used a lot of different software of the years, ComputerEase is by far the least user friendly"

What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

Job Costing detail is probably the most beneficial Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

1. Inability to change, edit, rename Employee (like if they get married), Vendor (if they have sub- accounts or multiple), Customer. It would be helpful to be able to rename these fields.

2. Not able to assign multiple subcontracts to one Vendor/Subcontractor

3. Not able to edit an invoice that you previously did not apply either retention or a discount, after the fact,the fields are greyed out & no longer available to edit.

4. Having to go to multiple different locations in order to get all the information necessary to file specific external job related reports .

5. Not able to edit an AR invoice, payments & invoices, when doing multiple credits to offset, makes sales register & AR Reports look very confusing & too much to easily identify correct invoices to payments, etc.

6. Payables-frustrating that when you print a report, it shows the Voucher & Invoice #, yet when you pay invoices, it shows only the voucher #, when you print a check preview, it only shows the invoice#, making it difficult when you have a difference to balance out quickly. The inability to manually apply a discount to only specific invoices within the pay screen.

7. Entering credit card bills/statements or paying a vendor with a credit card and then trying to find history.

8. Entering employee time, there should be a timesaving feature to duplicate prior/previous weeks.

9. Payroll Reports (ie. EFTPS) should be able to edit, to not print unneeded information.

10. Certified Payroll Reporting-should be able to export accurate information to outside agencies/platforms easier, without making modifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

ComputerEase is a very user-friendly software system for construction. Project managers find the product user-friendly along with the accountants. For instance, you no longer need to keep the prevailing wage reports after you print them off. You can go back into the system and reprint them. If you use the wrong general ledger account number in a journal entry, you can adjust it even if it has posted. You can create your own reports in Qtool. Qtool is user-friendly and the reports can be exported to Excel. ComputerEase also allows you to import most items in the system when creating a job budget, inventory, or sites for service, to name a few. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

Not much, except for the time it takes to put in equipment for a preventative service maintenance. Once the import function happens, it will make us more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ComputerEase is very user-friendly compared to other accounting software.

You can gather a lot of information for job costing, etc.

There is not very much that we dislike.

When we do have issues, customer service responds in a timely fashion.
