We are generating datasets for a project where real data is very difficult to get. This tool is a charm to use and is very usable. Distributions and constraints between attributes of one table are easily defined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are still limitations in handling logical constraints across tables when synthesizing datasets. One workaround we are using is to syntesize data for composite tables and then populate the individual tables from that information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of factors go into selecting the right software for the job. What I tend to look for first, is ease-of-use. If I can launch the program and just start without any instruction as is the case with dbForge Data Generator for SQL Server, that's 90% of the consideration. The first time I used this product, I was able to get going straight away - no wasting time - in my book, this is the best feature! I purchased it straight away! Other considerations beyond ease-of-use, ranked high for me is the UI. I'm very particular on the layout, the look and feel and the "snappiness" of the interface. The company has done a really good job with the interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really do not "dislike" much about this software. However, price is always a factor and I would like to see a price reduction in the near future. Please note it is more cost effective than most of its competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the interface is very clean.
It pleases me that it comes in several colors since I suffer a lot when the interfaces are very white they damage my sight.
The connections are quite fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The program sometimes consumes a lot of PC resources.
It does not come in different indiomas.
It is not very friendly with new users who are introduced to the world of DB Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
