The actions in a2019 are easy to use and improved. They have continuous improvements in the packages for each action. Custom packages can now be built with Java. Python is now supported. Migration videos from v11 to a2019 should be shown. a2019 name should be changed to something more generic. Certification answers should be provided if one passes the exams. New upgrade/release or new feature should be notified in an email. More examples of Java based custom packages should be given. AARI and discovery bot uses cases should be made available for the developers to try and understand the concept clearly. IQBot should detect checkboxes more efficient. Instead of writing long codes simply drag and use the already available set of actions.
IQ Bot is really great while extracting information from documents. May be human eye can miss certain details but IQ bot can not.
Also OCR & IQ Bot pre-processors to deal with scanned documents makes a lot of required process easier and fast.
Support for Python literally awesome, to implement certain logics and to execute certain commands. Like Using Python date time module to extract the date from a document in desired format or to modify the field value extracted from the document.
Making process Error free and quick is one of the most Important feature I find in Automation Anywhere as a RPA Platform.
Automaton anywhere has made working with excel so smooth that you don't require to stuck your head in screen to update those files.
The Regex support is very useful while dealing with certain Patterns in a string, how it helps in handling the errors and utilizing the OCR at its full capability is worth mentioning.
UI Automation specially with Ai Sense Recorder is really helpful with the dynamic nature of the modern websites and the credential vault feature to provide secure login during UI automation is really an appreciable feature.

Recurring issues like " An un expected problem occurred" which requires to log out and log in to fix the issue. This is really annoying when working on long codes.
Another small issue is when you try to drag actions/action inside conditional statement, it get lost if you have not clicked outside of the Conditional statement line
Flow chart view is not that user friendly as compared to other RPA tools, it can be improved , like its really hard to see which set of actions are inside a particular section in Flowchart mode, this can be improved by introducing thread like feature in the flowchart.
Many times it does not identify the same device and go disconnected, which requires to delete the device and re register it, which is not pleasing at all.
Functionality of IQ Bot pre-processor: "Get document Info" needs to be improved, as it fails to extract many data from the page, which OCR can extract easily by converting the page into image using PDF action set. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Overall I like the app and didn't face much issues while connecting to CR but in starting I faced issues in connecting to CR and also in starting and stopping bots despite everything being connected and bot status populates randomly . We face issues with many bots in production, specially after the Control Room upgrades but that could be understood and is kind of expected. The other challenge is that the devices do not connect automatically to the control room after planned and unplanned outages which impact the control room, but we have informed that it's likely to change when we move to the Cloud. We do have some concerns about the support, many problems just persist without resolution like black screens and machines logging off intermittently. Accuracy was not high with the IQ bot. few of the sub commands which we are not comfortable because of its least use i.e terminal emulator,app integration and xml commands.some of the few commands are there but thats not come into picture to be used with the organisation.Sometimes the object cloning is not that much feasible to be used with the portal Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Citrix operations are yet to be developed in a considerable way to compete with Uipath which is already providing various options for the Citrix Automation such as Native Citrix and Computer Vision which are compared to that of Automation anywhere.
The lack of visualization of the process that the bot has executed, integration of other vendors to generate a statistical report of the way the bot runs.
The Uipath has more integrated way to show the visual representation by creating dash boards in the Kibana while combined with Elastic or Splunk.

Community version has helped immensely in creating a POC and understanding the tool and automation solution practically

Versioning can be better. If you want to compare two versions of tasks, it is challenging to track changes if step positions alter. Debugging can be improved. There is no stepping into a subtask from a task for debugging. Currently subtask needs to run seperately with additional steps added for sending variable values. what I like the most about it is that the learning curve is very short. You can create your first bot with in your first hour. The next thing is that there was a free certification period for partners, One of the things i would like to say is that the support you get is amazing and their fast response is appreciated.
