What do you like best about Automation Anywhere - RPA | Robotic Process Automation?

Moving from AA v11 to A2019 it has been great transformation. It is faster, easy to use and can be used from anywhere. The best part is that everything is on cloud and user don't have to put those high RAM consuming applications.User interface is especially very easy to use and the introduction of flowcharts makes teh code very readable. The installation process is seamless. The Courses available on AA University are really helpful for RPA budding developers. The integration of Python, Java, .Net has also given an edge to AA over other RPA tools in the market. The certification programs are really well developed and helps even a layman to lear the tool in no time. i would personally recommend AA for small and large business processes. What do you dislike about Automation Anywhere - RPA | Robotic Process Automation?

A2019 takes a lot of time for the Bot to get deployed and run on the connected machine. There are times when the Bot agent has to be disconnected and connected again. There were instances where resolutions like Uninstalling and Installing again were given, which obviously did not work out the best. What do you dislike about Automation Anywhere - RPA | Robotic Process Automation?

I have seen most of the commands which Automation Anywhere doesn't have. But UiPath have all the commands which makes works easy and feasible.

I am mentioning the points which Automation Anywhere should provide in the community edition.

1. Data Table command which are not available like Build Data Table, Filter Data Table, Remove Column, Add Row there are many sun-commands which are really useful and important to automate daily task. If you can see this command is available in UiPath.

2. As far I have seen in Automation Anywhere most of the commands are not available. Like Get Text, Get Attribute, Get Position, Get OCR. Only we have single command Object Cloning which most of the time not working.

3. Selection of selectors is quite difficult and confusion. If you see same in UiPath it's very-2 easy and reliable. UiPath provides the big window to select the selector of any elements.

4. Automation Anywhere doesn't have the command like Path Exist, Element Exist, Folder Exist, Image Exist in UiPath separate commands are giving and very easy to use instead to use in Automation Anywhere.

5. I want to see Exist Element command in Automation Anywhere this activity is available in UiPath I considered this is the most important activity to automate.

6. Retry Scope command is not there like ex. If I want to click a button multiple time till is click the right button.

7. Select items command is not available like in a drop down menu we can directly select the particular item which we need to select.

8. I want to see the more options in click command, like click image, click text, click button.

9. I want to see a one command which directly kill the process.

10. A2019 Web based community edition is very slow while executing and not comfortable and reliable to use. It's quite difficult to use and understand the command name and now they have changed the name of most of the command, It's more workflow wise. I love UiPath they have made this in a organized way which very simple to use and implement.

I want to see if Automation Anywhere make the development studio like UiPath.

Unable to extract the data from hand written document using iqbot and also unable to extract the check box value if it is inside dynamic table.In iqbot,the extracted data is merged with previous row inside dynamic tables if the reference column has any empty cell. No need to have any programming language.

So many learning courses available on learning portal easy to understand.

Also having community edition to do hands on is very helpful for the person who is new to tool. For partner companines providing free advanced automation certification.

Flawless installation process, a good amount of documentaion is available on the website.

Tool has one of the largest community forum to discuss the difficluties faced during the work. Apt response from the AA support team for the queries raised or tickets raised on the website or AA portal.

There are so many pre-built bots on the bot store which one can download and start using it in our process. Documentation present for prebuilt bot to use in our process which we are automaing.

Having the feature of bot insights & analytics helped to understnad , increase the profitability of the processes .

One of the most interactive, self paced courses available on learning portal to understand the working and usage of the tool and its various features.

Constant mailers from AA with the customers for the progress which AA is making in the tool also letting us know the new work that is happening onthe tool.

With the introduction of IQ bot we have added advantage of intelligence with which we can match the expectation of our client & as we are client support providing company this feature not only helped us but also helped client this helped us to get more business from the client and we were able to win the trust of our client. Automation anywhere is the best place to automate our repetitive same tasks.meta bots are the best thing in automation anywhere and how we can implement is the matter and if you use too many employee in your organisation to work the same and sample work its the best software for you.We can save lot of our daily time by automating the process using automation anywhere which reduces the time and work.Efficiency can also be increased of the process. Complex process can also be into simple process with the availability of commands in AA.The updated versions of automation anywhere is also good when compared to previous versions.Control room interface is also good in 11.3 version when compared to other version.We can see the entire bot status using control room. In Community edition the bot sometimes loses control and acts abruptly. Excel operations sometimes fail with unexpected responses. Although the same bot without changes works perfect on the next run. Forums and trainings do not portray how exactly to acheve some of the actvities, it would have been beneficial if such short videos on using methods and thier respective items could have been put.

Connecting to local device is problematic sometimes from the control room. We faced this issue that if there is a driver update AA fails to runs bots without an update (on community edition) as the connection to local device is interuupted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
