We've had a support ticket open for over a year regarding a syntax error, and there’s still no resolution.

We also have an open support ticket related to mass updates on effective-dated fields in employee records. Every year, when we perform these updates, the system wipes out the “special skills” section — even when using forms where that section is hidden. Despite multiple attempts and troubleshooting, the issue remains unresolved after more than a year.

DualEntry has actually sped up our month-end close. What used to take days of reconciliation is now just hours, courtesy of its smart bank matching and AI-driven transaction categorization. The main problems that it helps me solve are those related to the inventory of books, access to accurate and timely information by users, library management and access to a large number of resources including the purchase of digital books, which I value a lot. The benefits are many, but mainly related to time, the ease of managing and entering the different modules, the type of information that is shared with users, the large amount of existing resources as well as the fast and timely support by part of the company's staff. At this point in our implementation (less than a year on Acumatica), I don't really have any downsides to list. Having a data driven system has forced our company and our employees to be better stewards of our data input. Sometimes Acumatica can feel rigid to get new customers or items created - but rather, it's a blessing in disguise because it forces us to set things up correctly the first time. Our company facilitates peer-to-peer lending and we are perhaps the largest in the country. So naturally we handle a large number of transactions on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This leads to a lot of data being generated. To manage and reconcile this data, we are using Kosh. What I don’t love about QuickBooks Online is that the reporting features—especially for financials and payroll—feel a bit limited. It would be great if we could filter reports by multiple fields at once, like department and project, without having to export everything to Excel. Also, as someone working in Canada, I’ve noticed the payroll features aren’t as flexible as the U.S. version. Things like making T4 adjustments or formatting ROEs could definitely be improved. QuickBooks Online helps my department manage accounts payable, employee reimbursements, and payroll processing efficiently. For example, when we have to reimburse staff for travel or training expenses, the platform lets us track those reimbursements easily and match them to the correct GL accounts. - Only thing I can think of is that you need to create crypto gain/loss accounts in QBO because, as a result of QBO, they cant value transactions in USDC. One of the biggest headaches with our old system was that a single customer could have only one ship-to address.
