Though Emburse has made great strides in reporting through their Emburse Analytics portal, I don't like that only one creator license is included with our subscription. We need to pay for additional licenses to create reports. And while the reports you can create are very flexible - you can report and filter on just about any field - you are only limited to 5000 records in the output file. So, I think Analytics has a little ways to go to be more useful. And I think Emburse should grant at least two creator licenses for each customer as part of the regular monthly subscription. There are a few technical issues that can be frustrating. First, our company card occasionally disconnects from the platform, which creates a major headache for both our team and the accounting team, as we have to manually track down expenses we assumed were already syncing. Second, if I upload and split a receipt before the corresponding expense hits the credit card and syncs with Fyle, the system doesn’t recognize the split—resulting in a duplicate entry. Since I prefer to upload receipts right away to avoid losing them, this becomes an issue, especially with vendors like Amazon where purchases often show up as multiple charges. Our experience with Bill.com has been extremely disappointing. Their verification process is an absolute nightmare — we were asked to submit the same documents 4-5 times, and even after doing so, they continued to flag issues without providing any clear resolution.

What made this worse was the quality of their support. Every interaction with their support team felt like going in circles — no real ownership, no actionable guidance, just the same scripted responses that don’t actually address the problem. It's clear that their internal processes and customer support infrastructure are broken.

We chose Bill.com expecting it to simplify our AR workflows — instead, it created more headaches and delays. We’ve wasted far too much time on something that should be straightforward. Nonstop popups to share location. I choose not to share location and dismiss the popup, but then on the VERY next page it pops up again. Horrible implementation to prompt a user more than once in a "session". This is UX 101 stuff.

As for actual functionality, the GUI for favorites / common locations could be improved with 5 min of coding.

The app and experience in general shows a clear "we own marketshare therefore don't need to innovate" approach. You could teach a high school class dedicated to "foolish mistakes that Apps make" on this app alone. But they likely dont care because they have the market cornered? Netsuite is mainly helping us in Accounting. It helps us in monitoring Inventory accurately and recording accounts payable via PO. This is very helpful and make our work easy. Cardholder compliance is unbelievably better and we have seen a reduction in missing receipts nearly 10-fold. Multi-currency management is quite archaic. Opening my USD account took more than a week and I can't transfer my euros to dollars directly from Payhawk. It would be nice to be able to pay bills in dollars directly from my euro account. This would also be advantageous for Payhawk, which would profit from the exchange rate. Not too much. It is one of my vendors that I am very happy with. If I had to have a suggestion, it would be on the savable templates. They are not editable in a way that streamlines our processes, so we generally have to create a brand new template or deal with the way its done. (add a line in the template at the top for alphabetical purposes vs. having to add at bottom). Also, I wish there were more customizable workflows. We have to manually select the workflows b/c we have many managers for similar invoices. I wish we could have workflow templates we could select vs. having to manually add approvers.
