What do you like best about Rippling?

Rippling is incredibly easy to use. As an employee, I really appreciate how straightforward the platform is—from checking my performance appraisal packet info to managing time off or benefits. It’s well-designed, loads quickly, and doesn’t require any training to figure out. We started using it at my company without much hassle, so I’d say implementation seemed smooth from the employee side. I also like that it integrates well with other tools we use, making everything feel connected and efficient. I use it a few times a month, and it’s always reliable. What do you dislike about Rippling?

The only small drawback I’ve noticed is there should be an easier way to view the organization chart. Since as the organization grows, it becomes harder to navigate and view my level among the tree. But this is a negligible one.Also, while I haven’t needed to contact customer support personally, it would be helpful if more in-app guidance were available for quick questions. Rippling solves the problem of having to use multiple platforms for different HR-related tasks. Before Rippling, things like accessing pay stubs, updating personal information, enrolling in benefits, or requesting time off often meant going through different systems or contacting HR directly. Now, everything is in one place, which saves time and reduces confusion. It’s made routine tasks much more convenient and has improved the overall employee experience. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Our business is a small enterprise that has under 10 employees, Connecteam has been fantastic not only because we are able to make use of their free option but also because of how great it is to manage the team from the system, its been easy to intergrate and get the team to make use of it on a daily basis and the videos and customer support has made it simple to set up from an administration standpoint. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

There isn't too much I can say that I dislike to be honest, perhaps the amount of notifications sent by the system can get annoying but I am an administrator with 2 others so it is probably better that all of us receive notifications when the others make changes or edits. Initially we needed an attendance application as some of our employees work from home and the system that we had was not working for that any longer, but when we actually started using the app we discovered all the additional uses like the knowledge base, courses, forms ect. and have relaay enjoyed consolodating all the employee handbooks and important information into one place that is easily accessable. What do you like best about Google Meet?

1) I love how stable and seamless, it is from my classes to prayer calls, and church meetings run smoothly without issues.

2) I like how clear the audio and video are, plus it hardly ever glitches,except when I'm having network issues on my end, even with the use of earpiece the sounds are very clear

3) Google Meet’s privacy is top notched, I feel secure knowing my all my meetings and calls are always protected

4) Also it also allows a large number of people on a calm at the same time which is pretty easy and useful. So it promotes unity.

5) Also it comes mostly in some phone as system apps but maneuvering is not an issue at all, from clicking the link to join the meeting simple as ABC

6) Also love the video features on it , even most time in my meetings it's not really needed example my prayer meeting, but my classes the video features are necessary and use and so far it's been seamless using and exciting, for you can see your friends virtual and see how they are fairing and it's very exciting for gestures

What do you dislike about Google Meet?

For me

Basic interface can feel too minimalistic: not as many in-meeting controls or settings for power users.

Occasional connectivity or lag issues: even with good internet, there might be brief drops or frozen screens and sometimes log you out

Recording storage tied to Google Drive: which can clutter up Drive or eat into storage quota.

Also, it's difficult to hear each other speak with everyone mics on it gives this echo and all and most time causes distractions in meeting and the minutes told fkr everyone to mute their mic and for them to eventually does, it could've been used to say other things

What do you like best about Google Workspace?

Google Workspace is an affordable alternative to Microsoft 365 or other similar softwares. Google Workspace has an interface that is easy for most users to understand and navigate. It's built for collaboration so teams tend to find it easier to get real-time participation from team members while they work on a project together. The collaboration tools alone, made Google Workspace part of our every day operations at Funnel Leasing. Our entire organization used Workspace daily because it also hosted our emails. It easily integrated into our business with minimal time spent training team members. To bring on this tech stack and not need to make time for the implementation meant we started seeing value from the first day. Though I have never had to contact customer support before, I do know there is a dedicated team ready to handle any issues that may come up. Most issues can be solved by referring to their troubleshooting articles in the Support blog. To be clear Workspace includes; Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Chat, Gemini, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Vids, Keep, Sites, Forms, NotebookLM, and AppSheet. The AI offerings (Gemini) alone make this software well worth it - you can ask Gemini to summarize emails and then create a response or you can use Vids to ask AI to create an 8 second video clip for you instead of having to go through stock footage on some random site, or you can use it to take notes during a meeting and provide you with a summary once it's over. I cannot recommend this software enough. Sure, it doesn't have the bells and whistles that Microsoft Word or Excel have but as far as I'm concerned that means that's less time for the team to get lost trying to find the perfect font or insert a picture into a document. What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

There has not been an adoption of Google Meets like there has of other meeting softwares - primarily Zoom and Teams. So, we do see some resistance from clients when we send Google Meets invites/Google Cal invites. There are some controls that are missing in Google Docs /Sheets that would be nice to have though I'm blanking on precise examples at the moment. Finally, when you do have a question regarding how to do something within the Google Workspace Suite, it can be difficult to get to the point where you're speaking to a person. While I realize this is the trend of Customer Support broadly, I do think giant profitable companies like Google can do a better job at assembling and training a team of solid CS associates to be available for live chat. Mircosoft and Apple both do it so I know it's not exceptionally hard. It just may cost some money which I doubt Google would want to spend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It hosts our companies email, so, that's a giant problem solved and it benefits us by providing unlimited storage for our employees.

It provides our employees with a cloud office suite which is accessed via a password and administered by the simple act of creating the employee account before onboarding.

It cuts back on time spent installing software or prepping computers to be sent to new employees

It simplifies the process of off-boarding employees because we simply change the password they use to access their email and then they are locked out of the system at all levels.

It handles the cloud collaboration part of our workflows which is extremely important as our company is entirely remote with employees all over the world.

It simplifies and streamlines account access provisioning as we advise all employees to use "Sign In with Google" wherever they can.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The user interface of Microsoft Teams is truly one of its strengths. It's intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for even new users to get familiar with the platform within just five minutes of use.

The best feature of Teams varies from user to user depending on their usage.

One of the most impressive and beneficial features when comapared to compititive tools is Voice Isolation. Unlike basic noise suppression or cancellation, Teams’ voice isolation ensures that your voice is heard clearly—even in noisy environments. This makes it possible to attend meetings from virtually anywhere without compromising on clarity.

High Resource Consumption. It consumes high amount of RAM

Chat Management Could Be Better. The chat interface lacks advanced filtering options. Searching for older messages or attachments isn't always smooth, and there's no way to categorize or tag conversations for easy retrieval.

During the KT and demo sessions, the recording feature is another standout. It’s extremely useful for knowledge sharing and training, allowing sessions to be recorded and reviewed later as needed.

Integration with OneDrive adds great convenience. There’s no need to switch between apps to access or share files—Teams allows direct sharing of links or files within the chat itself.

The built-in Calendar and pop-up alerts have ensured I never miss a meeting. Scheduling, reminders, and participation are seamless and efficient.

Zoom's quality of background is great and accurate - the speaker can be cut out without weird blurs.

Zoom's interactive features are vast and work well for in-app use and improve engagement. I also like the newer addition where you can make certain gestures and it picks up the emoji.

If you have both personal and enterprise accounts, it can get a little frustrating to toggle between the two. It's also frustrating that you can't include multiple calendars (e.g. 4 work Google calendars, 2 Outlook, etc.). Huge time saver: No more endless back-and-forth emails trying to find a good meeting time. I just share my link, and clients pick a slot—boom, it’s scheduled and added to my calendar instantly. That’s a productivity win any day. I love being able to connect several calendars (Google, Outlook, etc.) and automatically embed Zoom links. It keeps everything synced and conflict-free. Time-zone detection, buffer windows between meetings, automated reminders — it all combines to keep my day on track and noise-free. The user interface must be more intuitive as it feels quite overwhelming for initial users especially when they try to switch between different modules. Skype is now retired. it retired in May 2025. We use microsoft teams for using same feature. Otherwise skype offers clear audio/video calls and easy screen sharing, making remote communication smooth. I like its simple interface and the ability to chat, call, and hold meetings in one place. What do you like best about Slack?

I really like how we can categorise channels into different sections. I can also mute the notifications for channels that I don't have use for.

I also like how we can control how many DMs we have in our view and can dismiss the ones that are not regularly active.

I like the fact that there are options to add our work title, department, name pronunciation and many more things. All of these features help in getting to know more about your colleagues which is missing in other communication tools.

Lastly, my favourite thing about Slack is how we can maintain dashboards (Files) for separate channels. It really helps me navigate to project related details that concern our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The huddle feature can use some improvement. When I get on a huddle, one of the two users cannot hear each other and one needs to leave and re-join to solve this.

It's not easy to switch between devices while staying on the huddle, I can't find the option sometimes.

Slack makes it easy for me to stay connected with my team. It also helps me stay on top of my tasks with channel-level dashboards.

With the 'Google Calendar' and 'Jira' integrations, I can manage my entire day from within Slack. This minimises the need for me to navigate between multiple platforms.

What do you like best about OpenPhone?

We have been using Open Phone for about 3 months. From set-up to implementation, it is very intuitive and simple to start using. It was also easy to set up automation to automatically add in a contract from a form submit and send a welcome text. What do you dislike about OpenPhone?

The only (small) issues I've found is sometimes when calling or answering an incoming call, it takes 3-5 seconds to have someone hear me after the call is connected. Seems like a small delay.

What do you like best about Nextiva?

I like that Nextiva is HIPAA compliant and that everything can be done easily online. All the UI's are easy to understand and use. If something is tricky, their support team is quick to answer. What do you dislike about Nextiva?

The only feature I am not very fond of is the vFax Portal. It looks a bit outdated and there is a lot of clicking back and forth in order to view a different fax. And even though there is a category and folder feature, it is not a folder in the same sense of moving faxes from one folder to the other so you will still see the fax. What problems is Nextiva solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nextiva seems to be resolving customer control in that it is easier for clients to navigate and make changes very quickly instead of having to rely on contacting someone to make those changes. It benefits me because it makes my job easier when one of my teammates wants to implement a change on their phone or voicemail system and I have ease of access to it. Nextiva also simplifies how call flows are handled because it was a nightmare through other VoIP providers on making something as "simple" as an options menu. What do you like best about BambooHR?

I absolutely love BambooHR—both as an HR Manager and as an employee. It’s truly an all-in-one platform that makes my day-to-day so much easier. Everything works seamlessly, from employee records and time-off tracking to onboarding and performance management. The user interface is intuitive, and it’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the system efficient and easy to use.

One of the things I appreciate most is how BambooHR continues to innovate. The new products and features being launched are exactly what we need to stay organized and ahead of the curve. Every update seems to solve a real-world HR challenge. It’s made a huge impact on how we manage our people and processes—and I couldn’t imagine going back to the way things were before.

What do you dislike about BambooHR?

The one area I think could use improvement is multi-company access. I manage HR for four different companies, which means I need to maintain four separate logins. It would be incredibly helpful to have a unified dashboard or single sign-on—especially since some of our employees work across multiple entities. What do you like best about Zoom Phone?

What do you like best about Waitwhile?

We use Waitwhile a few times a year, when we vend at festivals/expos, and it works great! It's nice to be able to notify someone from across the venue that it's time for their session with just the push of a button. The setup is simple, and they're constantly improving and making thins even easier to use. Any time we've had an issue or question, the support team has been quick and friendly to help. What do you dislike about Waitwhile?

The use of SMS messaging is going away for the free plan, so we'll have to start making sure guests provide us an email address that they receive notification for, or that they download the WaitWhile app on their phone to receive the notification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we first started vending at festivals and expos, we were writing down the name and phone number of people to create a waiting list and then manually texting them when it was their turn. This was tedious and time consuming, and on the rare occasion we would make an error in the number we were texting. Waitwhile made it easy to collect even more data for the guest much faster, including the service(s) they wanted to receive, and the notification process became much simpler by just clicking a button.
