What do you like best about Samsara?

As a Transportation Safety Consultant I have to do audits on trucking companies that use many different ELDs. I monitor hours of service for 15+ companies, so I am in Samsara daily. Samsara is so user friendly for drivers and managers. The audit process is easy and the training for the drivers in the driver app is brilliant. Best of all when there is a feature that is not available I have been able to suggest a feature and it gets sent to the programming group to see if it would benefit all users and most of the time it is created and implemented. What do you like best about Acumatica?

I have used many small accounting and larger ERP systems. None work like Acumatica. When I said this system was written to run in the cloud - I really mean it. You can tell the company worked hard with industry experts to plan, design, and then program a software solution. This is not legacy software attempting to run in the cloud.

You can import and export from any system screen. Most common user screens have the ability with one click like sales order but for power users you can easily hit any screen/table you want.

I required very fancy customer discounts. This was the only system that could handle it.

I have over 100k SKUs and 50k bins. The system didn't complain. No user screens started to choke either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

I originally purchased a perpetual license many years ago. Unfortunately, those are no longer offered. My annual maintenance price has not changed each year which was a pleasant surprise. This year I was forced to upgrade to the latest version or I would get penalized 25% each month. It was in the middle of our busy season and nobody wanted to go through a major upgrade that could cause issues. I can understand support not wanting to help if we are on an old version but to force us to upgrade or fine us harshly is just down right abuse from a vendor. If that practice doesn't stop then I can see people leaving.

Don't try hosting this software on a virtual server. It will not perform well. Make sure you get a dedicated server. Also don't use the MySQL database. The only one that works is the MSSQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rillet let us build our finance stack from scratch—the right way. As CFO, I’ve worked with NetSuite (bloated, expensive) and QuickBooks (rigid, limited). Rillet is in a different category entirely. The platform is fast, intuitive, and beautifully modern. I now have real-time visibility into our financials, our bank data flows in automatically, and our Stripe integration just works.

Their team also understands accounting. I’ve never had an ERP implementation feel this white-glove: they handled the heavy lifting, helped me design the chart of accounts, and were a Slack message away the entire time. 1. QuickBooks Online often requires changing the account type and detail type for all Line of Credit accounts. Using the 'Line of Credit' detail type typically causes an error, so I must select 'Credit Card' or 'Other Liabilities/Loan Payable' instead.

2. Subscription fees have been increasing more frequently, making it costlier over time.

3. Report customization is limited, some reports that are available in the desktop version can't be generated in QuickBooks Online for clients.

1. I used to convert PDF statements to Excel in order to upload transactions manually. Now, with the bank connection feature and date range selection, transactions are automatically downloaded for me.

- Only thing I can think of is that you need to create crypto gain/loss accounts in QBO because, as a result of QBO, they cant value transactions in USDC. What do you like best about Fiix CMMS?

My favorite feature about Fiix is the simplicity. Whether I'm maintaining the work order cycle, organizing inventory, creating an asset register, or customizing dashboards, the layout is easy to understand and allows me to analyze the current state of our facility with ease. If I ever have trouble understanding a feature, the customer support is helpful and friendly. What do you dislike about Fiix CMMS?

There is nothing that I dislike about Fiix. Like any CMMS, the advanced features will take some time to understand, but those features allow me to evaluate the efficiency of our maintenance department. If I had to pinpoint any frustrations with Fiix, it would be creating assets. Instead of just creating one at a time, it would be amazing if I could make many assets at once that have similar qualities, but with different names. We had issues with our customized analytics page, as the data wasn't aligning with the empirical data our team regularly tracks. Our customer support representative was able to help resolve these issues and we've been happy ever since. What do you like best about Kashoo?

Easy to use and fast tool. It took little time to setup (from an accounting standpoint) and works on all platforms (mobile, windows & mac). Since it's cloud-based, works from everywhere I go. Very stable platform, I haven't experienced downtime for more than a couple minutes and rearely more than once per year (probably due to maintenance). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kashoo?

The mobile app doesn't yet support businesses which have multiple currency transactions. This is something they're aware of and are working on. I've been using this for 9 years, new features are far between. I wish there were more external integrations, as well as a visual editor to produce custom styled invoices. Recommendations to others considering Kashoo:

Try it, you'll love it. Even if you're not well versed in accounting, the layout makes for easy management of your business accounting. For more complicated entries, I've simply relied on a quick call to an accounting firm and took care of the entry. So even more complex entries are well handled. Use the mobile application to understand the full potential of Kashoo. There's a new revamped version soon to be released that will include better dashboards and automated data entry, so look forward to this. Their online webinars are totally worth checking out.
