My company is part of a much larger parent company - we had a pretty manual ME close check list which really was not part of my process and I often didn't keep up w/ it until it was due and had to think back on the dates tasks were completed - our reconciliations we seperate and had to be loaded to another site - FloQast has combined both of these tasks into one and is just saving so much time - Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In my experience, Workiva has been a highly effective tool for managing complex financial reporting. It improved accuracy and efficiency, especially with its ability to link data across documents and support real-time collaboration. These features helped reduce errors and made cross-team work much smoother.

Workiva solves several key problems in financial reporting:

The biggest downside to LiveFlow is the price. It's not the cheapest option out there, and while I feel the software is worth it if you are charging appropriate fees to your clients for your services, what I don't like is how there are added fees for new features. LiveFlow allows me to be able to pull data out of QuickBooks Online and turn it into a useable dashboard or spreadsheet that is easy for the client's the read. It can update automatically in the background, so if you provide your clients access to the dashboard/sheet, they can have real-time data at their fingertips provided the QBO file is updated. The user interface can feel outdated and unintuitive at times, especially for new users. Navigation between modules isn't always seamless, and basic tasks can take a few extra steps compared to other platforms. The reporting tool, while powerful, has a steep learning curve. Building custom reports or adjusting templates often requires technical knowledge or admin-level access, which slows down self-service reporting. Initial implementation takes time and often requires third-party consultants. Some features that should be standard—like advanced billing or multi-entity consolidations—may come at an extra cost. Sage Intacct is helping us streamline and automate our financial processes—especially around accounts payable, receivable, and multi-entity consolidations. Before using it, we struggled with manual data entry, scattered spreadsheets, and delayed reporting. Now, we benefit from centralized data, real-time financial insights, and faster month-end closes. We had a very slow and painful close process as well as issues with memory space on previous software solutions. We've now cut our monthly close process on the FP&A side down from 2 weeks to 2 days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like this product but there are some issues which i faced during my usage. As a user I have to post multiple transfer entries from one bank account to other. so I cant do this via upload csv for this i have to do multiple manual entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Netsuite is mainly helping us in Accounting. It helps us in monitoring Inventory accurately and recording accounts payable via PO. This is very helpful and make our work easy. With the help of this we can easily monitor inventory, In this way it is helping us. I originally purchased a perpetual license many years ago. Unfortunately, those are no longer offered. My annual maintenance price has not changed each year which was a pleasant surprise. This year I was forced to upgrade to the latest version or I would get penalized 25% each month. It was in the middle of our busy season and nobody wanted to go through a major upgrade that could cause issues. I can understand support not wanting to help if we are on an old version but to force us to upgrade or fine us harshly is just down right abuse from a vendor. If that practice doesn't stop then I can see people leaving.

Don't try hosting this software on a virtual server. It will not perform well. Make sure you get a dedicated server. Also don't use the MySQL database. The only one that works is the MSSQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI, though clean, could benefit from a few more customization options to suit different team workflows. That said, the support team has been very responsive, and once everything is set up, the system runs smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DualEntry has actually sped up our month-end close. What used to take days of reconciliation is now just hours, courtesy of its smart bank matching and AI-driven transaction categorization. It automatically extracts data from our payroll (Payfit), HR systems (Zelt, Oracle HCM, IntelliHR), and revenue streams (Salesforce) with fewer exceptions and no more data silos. The result? Having visibility into all orders and all the details is really easy to do in Xoro. Other ERP's struggle with this. And it's all configurable so you can see only what you want to see. On top of that, the advance search capabilities lets you filters out the orders using almost any criteria. This makes processing/fulfilling orders really simple as you can do them in batches. It is a not a drag-and-drop tool for do it yourself dashboarding. But it is also not intended to be this. The target of Apliqo is rolling out applications to a group of end users that can get going without the need for extensive trainings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We mainly use Apliqo (both UX and FPM) for internal reporting. We use it for our day-to-day timesheets, our (financial) month end close, dashboarding and reporting.

The operational model is tracking our projects on a day-to-day basis, provinding an overview of budgets-to-date, time spent (hours/days), expenses tracking. Our users are entering information on a daily basis.

For the financial closing we are currently utilising the P&L/Balance sheet reporting layer across our region, based on input from various countries, coming from different data sources (accounting systems).

Reports and budgets are easy to produce. I especially appreciate being able to produce multi-year budgets. Anaplan helps with different types of planning. I have been involved in Financial Planning and Analysis for four years now. I am assisting clients in moving from Excel sheets to Anaplan planning UX. Anaplan can have scheduled data integrations from external data sources such as Informatica Cloud, SnapLogic, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Docusign, Workiva, and Tableau. It has dynamic time scale implementation.

Master Data structure – works on having one data hub with a single source of truth, build once and push multiple times approach.Pushing hierarchical changes across multiple worksheets is tough and error-prone

There is definitely a learning curve with regards to creating formulas and linking the elements of a financial model. There is not much to dislike. Unlike other ERP's, Business Central relies on an intentional action-and-effect process for most workflows in a business. Because of this, user errors are almost always visible and hard to hide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Business Central has tied in 3 Shopify stores, an EDI platform, a previous business history, and over 60 employees to conduct a multi-million dollar business. In addition, our highly regulated market requires us to be able to customize our system exactly as we require it. Preventing unregulated sales, embedding procedures that feel native to the application, and providing opportunities to employees within Finance, HR, Sales, Customer Support, Warehouse, and Software Design. It is not always able to clear data that is supposed to be hidden or archived. For example, our customer list was flooded with individual email adresses in the early days of the companies. Those could be hidden in Quickbooks, but G-accon does not separate them out when building customer lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quickbooks is notoriously hard to use for an accountant who simply wants raw data tables, since almost everything in that program is formatted and not really adapted to data analysis. Nothing material so far. If anything, my only regret is that I didn’t go with Rillet sooner. At my last company, we went with NetSuite under investor pressure, and it slowed everything down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We’re finally off spreadsheets and building a clean, auditable, and scalable finance infrastructure. Rillet has been instrumental in helping us automate our workflows, unify our billing (Stripe), payroll (Rippling), and reporting systems and get investor-ready from day one.
