What really stands out, though, is the targeting and segmentation. What do you like best about Acumatica?

I have used many small accounting and larger ERP systems. None work like Acumatica. When I said this system was written to run in the cloud - I really mean it. You can tell the company worked hard with industry experts to plan, design, and then program a software solution. This is not legacy software attempting to run in the cloud.

You can import and export from any system screen. Most common user screens have the ability with one click like sales order but for power users you can easily hit any screen/table you want.

I required very fancy customer discounts. This was the only system that could handle it.

I have over 100k SKUs and 50k bins. The system didn't complain. No user screens started to choke either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Acumatica?

I originally purchased a perpetual license many years ago. Unfortunately, those are no longer offered. My annual maintenance price has not changed each year which was a pleasant surprise. This year I was forced to upgrade to the latest version or I would get penalized 25% each month. It was in the middle of our busy season and nobody wanted to go through a major upgrade that could cause issues. I can understand support not wanting to help if we are on an old version but to force us to upgrade or fine us harshly is just down right abuse from a vendor. If that practice doesn't stop then I can see people leaving.

Don't try hosting this software on a virtual server. It will not perform well. Make sure you get a dedicated server. Also don't use the MySQL database. The only one that works is the MSSQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?

As an integrations specialist, I've enjoyed the straight-forward approach to a Business Process. I'm a daily user, both in front and back end. I've implemented everything a Small/Med Size business could need, and rarely depended on a service provider to make-sense of what I was doing. Migrating our previous systems to this platform would've been impossible without the Service Providers available for the product. Being a Microsoft product, the ecosystem of instant-connections like Power Automate, Power BI, and the extensible API within BC itself, have all made Business Central work with our business very effectively. Business Central has tied in 3 Shopify stores, an EDI platform, a previous business history, and over 60 employees to conduct a multi-million dollar business. The only issue I've had is the team will occasionally release A/B testing without informing their users - you wont know you're part of the test until you have an issue and they determine it's due to the A/B testing. What do you like best about Connecteam?

I really like the ability to see employees hours and location in real time. I like being able to a correct, add notes easily and quickly. It's great to be able to communicate with the employee via chats to ask them questions about their hours. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

I'd like to be able to alter the time sheet in it's PDF view a little bit more. To be able to add columns that I'd like to see. We also have a lot of different types of time keeping. Different Rates, piece work, prevailing wage, per diem, mileage etc. and it isn't easy/almost impossible to get these on a time sheet in way that we can use. I have to do almost everything through notes. And when I do that, the other rates etc. do not total on their own, I still have to do the math by hand. Customer service was able to add columns for mileage and per diem for us, however they will not show up on the PDF timesheet, only on the screen on my desktop. So we have some employees that this will simply not work for and we have not been able to integrate them into having digital timesheets through Connecteam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has been excellent in our scheduling department. It has made scheduling and communication a lot easier and more efficient. It also enables us to see how many hours have been worked on a job in real time rather than waiting for time sheets to be turned in at the end of the payroll cycle. It's also a lot faster to get the info needed for me to do the payroll. I can just download timesheets and get their total hours instantly. What do you like best about Assembly?

I like being able to stay in touch with co workers in different departments and different branch locations. I feel I am able to stay in the loop with things going on within our company. I wish i was able to prioritize post made by specific people, or filter by branch location or department that posters work in. This would allow me to see information that was more applicable to myself when i have limited time during the day to check assembly posts. I work with many other departments ( call center, roof inspectors, rehash etc.) daily, but I rarely see these coworkers in person.
