I like how user friendly the platform is. I'm newer to the team who uses this tool and it was one less thing I had to worry about during onboarding because it was an easy tool and the customer support from our CSM has been incredible! Any questions I do have, or issues that arise, they are quick to answer and troubleshoot and that is such a value add. I like the seamless brand experience that customers receive as well. I was just a Sendoso customer so any time I joined webinars, I loved how the host experience looked, and now being on the back-end it's just as seamless as the front-end. There have been a few hiccups with loading our resources and media in prior to webinars, but other than that, it's been great. The ability to upload our own follow-up emails would be awesome for that continued brand experience, instead of using the Sequel emails. I know that feature has been "Coming Soon" for a while. Other than that, I love everything! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our team at Sercante has been using Sequel.io for our webinars and the experience has been awesome. The platform does what we need, and then some! But the real standout is the team behind it.
Gage has been incredibly helpful every step of the way. Whether it's setting up backend stuff, helping troubleshoot styling issues, or just answering a ton of random questions, he’s always quick to jump in and super easy to work with.
If you're looking for a reliable webinar tool with a team that’s got your back, I’d definitely recommend Sequel.io. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, nothing. And if something ever comes up, the team is always listening and super responsive. They’ve added multiple things from our wishlist into their quarterly releases, it truly feels like we’re shaping the platform together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to embed webinar directly onto a landing page and keep users on our site is valuable, and creates a more seamless experience for our audience than previous tools. Cross party registration is also a useful feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Despite mentioning in every initial call (discovery, intro and onboarding) that analytics was the primary reason we were exploring another platform, we were not told (and actually misinformed) about the fact that API access is only available with the full business plan.
We told the sales rep multiple times that access to granular reporting and analytics, and the ability to pass this data to other systems was essential for us, and we also made it clear we would be going for the Growth plan (this was already a much higher monthly investment than we were used to), and at no point did she say we wouldn't have access to this - she repeatedly told us we would be able to achieve this. The same thing happened in all subsequent calls until we tried to access this data and we were only then told this wouldn't be possible, and there was no option for this to be an add-on - we had to upgrade to the full business plan. This was a massive oversight in their sales process and if they had been clear from the start that what we required needed business plan access, it would have saved us a huge amount of time.
The AI generated videos are also of pretty poor quality and the editing/ customisation functionality is basic.
Overall, with the above in mind, the growth plan is overpriced - you can get access to the majority of the same features (if not better for some things) for half the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sequel.io has truly impressed me on multiple fronts. Their customer service is top-notch—quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and always open to feedback. The platform itself is both powerful and intuitive. It’s clear they’ve thought through the entire webinar experience—from ease of setup to customization options, it’s simple to use and visually polished.
One standout feature is how well it facilitates connection with attendees during live webinars—it feels engaging and dynamic. I also love how easy it is to clip standout moments from the webinar for use on social or in ads. It’s a well-rounded platform that continues to exceed expectations. There’s nothing that stands out as a major drawback. Occasionally, a few features feel like they could be located in more intuitive places, but it's a minor detail and hasn’t impacted usability. Plus, the team is highly receptive to feedback, which makes any small issues feel addressed quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reason we moved to Sequel.io in the first place is still the main reason why I love it. The ability to embed the live event onto our own website pages means we have been able to increase traffic to our website in general but importantly, to our persona-based resource pages where they can find and engage with our value-based content beyond the event. We get a lot of positive feedback from attendees about how smooth our live events are, even having some attendees reach out after the event to find out what platform we use as they'd like to replicate for themselves. I think that says a lot! Also the customer support is fantastic - whenever we have had set up questions, we get helpful responses same day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As we have multiple use cases for Sequel, it would be amazing if we could be able to split the reporting based on specific content series - however in order to do that, you'd have to purchase further packages to have more workspaces to split out live event series. Makes reporting on series a manual task, whereby you go back into individual events to pull results. Considering most of our live event series are only once per month at the moment, that isn't a big issue but if we were to ramp up content production, we'd either have to pay more than we are, or have more of a manual reporting process to undertake. Sequel.io has been a game changer for our digital events in several ways. Two standout features are the built-in calendar invites and the Marketo integration. Since implementing Sequel, we’ve seen a significant increase in both Qualified Leads (QLs) and live attendance for our livestreams.
One of the biggest advantages is that we no longer have to send registrants to external sites—all traffic stays on our website thanks to Sequel’s seamless iframe embedding. Additionally, follow-up emails used to require our email team to schedule them in Marketo, but now I can create and schedule emails directly in Sequel, saving time and streamlining communication.
Another highlight was a recent virtual event where part of the session was live at our HQ and part was virtual (the speaker was not at HQ). Using OBS, we were able to push a live feed from our HQ directly into Sequel, creating a smooth and professional experience.
I use sequel on a weekly basis - some weeks two or three times. I have never had a reliability issue - which was the reason we changed from our last platform.
Sequel.io is incredibly easy to use, and their team has been fantastic to work with. 10/10—would definitely recommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There aren’t any major downsides, but a few additional features would enhance the experience. For instance, having the ability to send one-off emails directly to registrants within Sequel would be incredibly helpful. Additionally, quick access to UTM attribution within the analytics dashboard would make tracking performance more seamless. Finally, a simple option to manually add a single participant (without needing to bulk upload a list) would be great, especially when adding just one or two people. Full feature set needed for B2B demand gen and event production (SFDC API, Webflow embed API, email automation, analytics, ICP scoring, live event management, etc.) , yet super intuitve interface + speed to implementation. Easy enough to hand-off to non-account owners for self-serve with a ~7 minute Loom. Gage on the support team is also steller. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Definitely on the premium end of pricing, so certain companies may have troubling justifying value. We're already using Sequel 3x a week, generating warm leads and we plan to increase volume steadily. Plus piping into SFDC and embedding to our dot-com was a huge win for us. Sequel revolutionized the way webinars are experienced. From an attendance perspective, the UX feels more immersive but from a host perspective, the tools and marketing enablement post-event is incredible. When you integrate it with your CRM (HubSpot for us), we're able to track viewing metrics and fire off workflows based on engagement. As far as I know, there's nothing this comprehensive on the market.
I can't recommend the product enough. But on top of being an awesome tool for webinars and video hosting, their support team is second to known. The library of product enablement resourses feels like they've thought of and covered everything. And should you need support, they go the extra mile to handle/solve any issues that come up. I can't think of any dislikes. We moved off of Zoom webinar and won't be going back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sequel.io makes hosting webinars and events seamless by allowing us to embed them directly on our website, creating a more cohesive brand experience. The platform's automated reminder emails help boost attendance, while the intuitive customization options make it easy to tailor events to our needs. Plus, the post-event reporting provides valuable insights to measure engagement and improve future events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like to see the ability to create webinar and event series that are all linked to one another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Sequel because we (a) wanted a simple tool for hosting live events/webinars, and (b) make them feel like native content on our website. We really wanted that seamless experience from live event to evergreen content. I like being able to post the replay directly after the event, or download the video, edit it a bit, and then re-upload the replay.
We host events on our site about once per month. It's nice that people come directly to our website when joining live (instead of a third-party tool), or to YouTube to watch replays, where they can get distracted by other stuff.
Implementation was easy. It was pretty quick to set up our brand themes. We built our own event library on Webflow and just embed the Sequel code for each event. The HubSpot integration was also really easy to set up, and we can easily filter contacts by which events they attended, registered for but didn't attend, or watched replays of.
Also, it's been really easy for our webinar guests. Haven't had any technical difficulties, which is really important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any explicit dislikes — there are just features I'm not using. The AI and editing tools, for example, aren't as strong as some other tools I have, so I don't use them. But that doesn't detract from Sequel at all for me.
And the recording quality isn't as strong as something like Riverside—so we wouldn't use Sequel to record a podcast for example—but I happily pay for both tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
